Golgari Suicide Bomber (EDH / Commander)

This is an updated version of the first commander deck I made from scratch. The first attempt included a bit of landfall, which I removed to focus more on ramp and synergies with Jarad. The basic plan is to ramp early using cards like Birds of Paradise, Lotus Cobra, Crop Rotation, Harrow, Roiling Regrowth, and Cultivate to give to room to set up after the first few turns. When you cant ramp in the first couple turns, mill with cards like Glowspore Shaman, Saytr Wayfinder, Stitcher's Supplier or Mesmeric Orb. Skull Prophet is great because you get to chose between milling and ramp. If you're lucky, you'll mill a big boi like Ghoultree, Lord of Extinction, or Sheoldred, Whispering One and be able to bring it back turn 2, 3, or 4 with Dance of the Dead, Stitch Together or Reanimate. Keep on milling to take advantage of World Shaper and set your graveyard up for the recursion you need to combo everyone else out. The dream combo of the deck is to throw out Karametra's Acolyte with 4 or more devotion to green, or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds with a high power creature so that you can equip Umbral Mantle for an ez infinite mana/infinite power & toughness and subsequently bring out Jarad to wipe the entire table. But even if you can't do that, there are still plenty of ways to win with Jarad. Sometimes Lord of Extinction will do it all by himself with a lil help from Mesmeric Orb. Or you can Nighthowler any old creature using bestow, sac it with Jarad, then sac the Nighthowler right after. Or use Death's Presence to sac something huge and throw all its power onto another thing to sac. Or hell, just sac something moderately big and use Lithform Engine to copy Jarad's activated ability. Command Beacon lets you bring Jarad out early without having to worry about him costing more if he gets targeted. And who needs a Lightning Grieves when we can just toss Journey to Eternity onto Jarad and get value out of him dying? Card draw from Izoni, Thousand-Eyed, Sylvan Library, The Great Henge, witch work nicely with Liliana's tutoring. Umbral Mantle stuck in your library with no conventional tutoring mechanisms? No problem, just transmute that Dimir Machinations. Have fun killing your opponents with suicide bombers!
