Yarok, the Descrated is by far my favorite commander ! He was the first commander I ever had and thus has been played and developed for many years.
The Sultai color combination is generally my favorite color combination in Commanders. The control you gain from blue, the destruction duech black paired with the powerful and great spells of green just add up to my exact playstyle! On top of that, Yarok has a really cool and powerful ability. This deck combines everything that is important to me: It is fun and varied, it has the perfect color combination that allows you to create different combinations and it is also very strong, but not overpowered. Simply a great commander and a great deck

>Deck explained

>main idea/strategy

  • The deck is actually quite simple to explain: It's about entering the battlefield effects as often as possible to multiply them. For this we play our Sultai Commander Yarok, the Desecrated, who gives the whole deck its identity. His ability to double the entering the battlefield effects makes the deck really strong. For example, if a Baleful Strix comes into play while our Commander is in play, we draw 2 cards instead of one. To give our game idea the punch it needs, we play a lot of cards that draw us more cards. We also play cards that protect us from attacks by enemy creatures or spells. In addition, we work a lot with lands that are an alternative to our actual strategy. We try to use the many effects we trigger to give us an advantage and turn the game in our favor, all the way to victory.
