Spellslinger and Artifact-Tokengenerator

> Introduction

Hello dear Deckstats Community, im Fredo and i want you to show a budget izzet deck, which will blow up your mind.

> Powerlevel

This deck is made for a tuned causal deck table which comes with Powerlevel 7.

At Powerlevel 7 your game plan is set to use multiple strategies, account for other players in the game, and have a win-condition in mind. The majority of finely tuned casual decks will peak out at this level. The only things that will hold this deck back from gaining power are budget, playgroup house rules, and most importantly Consistency.

> Playstyle

Most of the time the deckplan is to generate artifact tokens and get as much value as possible by tapping them for mana. If not neccesesary you dont wan't to sacrifice any of your tokens, because you run cards like Saheeli, the Gifted or Inspiring Statuary, which are cost reducer depens on the amount of artifacts you control.

Because you're in Izzet, people are sometimes scared and wont attack/target you're deck, because you could have any responses. We should use this as an advantage. That's why I highly reccomand an interactive playstyle and dont waste all you're mana at you're turn. Try to focus the player who is going bad on you and avoid "Firstblood".

> Tokengenerator

Our main tokens are:
Treasure
Clue
Food
Servo
Thopter
other (Rock, Landmine)

I do mostly prefer to spawn a non creature artifact token instead of a creature artifact token, because of the most common boardwipes like Damnation which wont affect our non creatures.

> Single card discussion

Outside the tokengenerator there are a few cards, that work excelnt with our Deckplan.

Goblin Electromancer | cost reducer
Jace's Sanctum | cost reducer
Primal Amulet // Primal Wellspring | cost reducer
Saheeli, the Gifted | In midgame she provides us tokens. In Lategame she can give us with her other +1 ability an insane amount of cost reduction.

Inspiring Statuary | Inspire for our nonartifact spells | This is insane good once, your commander becames to expensiv
Shimmer Dragon | This little Dragon can be an insane draw engine once you got a few Artifacts outside.

Past in Flames | Flashback for our instants and sorcerys. (Notable: Past in Flames + Mana Geyser | this could provide us an huge amount of mana)
Metallurgic Summonings | First of all this Card generates token. After that it allows us to get our Instants and Sorcery from our grave back to hand

Expressive Iteration | Draw - We want to hold our landdrop back before casting this spell, because we mainly should focus to exile a land which we can "play" from exile. So we get value for 2 cards for cmc 2.
Artificer's Epiphany, Cerebral Vortex, Fact or Fiction, Precognitive Perception, Into the Story : Instant draw spells. We want mostly to scare our opponents with our open mana. Thats why this deck prefer instant carddraw for a higher cmc instead of sorcery speed.

Field Research, Counsel of the Soratami : cmc 3 draw 2 cards. Is super great in early game.

Skyclave Relic, Darksteel Ingot, Darksteel Citadel | Because we lack on rebuilding once we get artifact boardwiped, i do prefer some indestructible ones, which work well with our Mechanized Produktion.

> Turn 1, Starting Hand

Tier l. 3. Lands, a Mana rock for cmc 2, and a draw spell for cmc 3

Tier ll. 2 Lands, a Mana rock for cmc 2, and a draw spell for cmc 3

don't take a hand with less then 3 Lands without a manarock or a draw spell

> How to win the game

  1. Burn them Down (Expansion // Explosion, Electrodominance, Comet Storm)
  2. Beat them Down (Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, Broodstar)
  3. Alternative (Mechanized Production)

> Break the Budget

First of all, you should know that even breaking the Budget, cant push the Deckstyle above power 8, because its not a combo based deck.
Therefore it will mostly just speed your Gameplan up.
