Il mazzo ha come base le liste classiche di BG.
Contrariamente alle liste che giocano elfi visionari e più copie di havenging hunter, questo mazzo punto a strappare danni con guildsworn e vampire (prezzi elusivi che permettono di sninjare okiba).
Il myr ha lo scopo di reiterare l utilizzo delle fontane in late game e presentare più volte ratti (come wrath) e vampire.
Il pacchetto removal e la side sono stati rivisti per affrontare alcuni mazzi in particolare.
I terminate sono efficaci contro gli affinity uw che giocano glitter e si proteggono con vasche di saldatura. Contro il guardiano in cowgate. E contro i mazzi sliver che giocano lo sliver rigenerante (mazzo poco presente, ma molto forte nelle versioni con 4 prismatiche di main).
I cast in to the Fire sono altrettanto buoni contro glitter, ma anche con i falchi di cowgate e i goblin in monored.
Disfigure sostituisce fungal infection poiché più efficace contro glitter e i falchi di Boros.
Le 4 dures sono contro combo. Mentre contro mazzi pieni di counter è sufficientemente sidarne 2 o 3.
