Toad King (Recursive Graveyard Voltron) (EDH / Commander)

Built this with the cards I had on hand, trying to be tough but balanced for a group of players who are newer/rusty and building their first command decks.
Has yet to be tested in that environment, but it's holding it's own against Grall's Splash Zone deck, built with the same constraints, but with a few singles we had purchased for other decks.
I also wanted an excuse to make a classic dredge-style golgari deck.

I'm desperate to swap out a few cards, and as soon as the group gets their mana balance down and starts buying singles, this is getting an upgrade!

Super fun cladding Uurg in armor, giving him a crown and scepter and bonking your opponents with damage from milling your own lands.

Survived a 4.5 hour game of 5 with someone's deck letting them take 4 turns in a row, and a game of 6 with Omnath, and Legendary Tribe, etc. decks at a party, even though I made a lot of mistakes. Perma-swapped out 2 cards after the first match, and 2 after the second. Really surprised and happy with the results so far. ...Hope it's still going to work for my beginner group.

Polukranos, Unchained, Night Soil and Onyx Mage are AMAZING in this deck!
I was able to take out someone's 22/22 voltron when they swung at me for lethal, with menace and trample, with all my creatures tapped, by making two saprolings, blocking with all 4 that I had, and giving the first blocker deathtouch, then limped along on 2 health before a board combo with his mindcrank and stolen Syr Konrad, The Grim got me.
Even Currency Converter helped saved my butt when I needed to block against a 20/20 voltron with menace with tapped creatures: I made a rogue with the one spell I had saved on it and activated Polukranos' escape ability to block, and was able to keep limping along on my 1 health before my fiance squished me with Marit Lage.
