Atraxa, Praetors' Voice - Poison [Infect/Toxic] (EDH / Commander) [Revisión 5]

Strategy

• The aim of this focused Atraxa list is to inflict a poison counter on each opponent within the first few turns.
• Then multiply them primarily by using the proliferate mechanic while generating value and and controlling threats on the battlefield.
• In the mid to late game, the aim is to have one of the doubling engines active - Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus or Roaming Throne.

Key cards and interactions

• Currently, our best options for poisoning the entire table are Prologue to Phyresis and Ichor Rats as well as Infectious Inquiry, Phyresis Outbreak,
  Vraska's Fall and Infectious Bite in the second tier.

• Roaming Throne interacts with Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, Venerated Rotpriest, Thrummingbird, Bloated Contaminator, Ichor Rats, Tainted Observer,
  Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres and Contaminant Grafter using the "Phyrexian" creature type.
  In some situations the "Human" creature type can be used to double the triggeres of Noble Hierarch, Fynn, the Fangbearer or Flux Channeler.

• Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider combined with Tainted Strike can one-shot an enemy without any poison counters that can't block 5 or more damage.

What to tutor for?

• Early in the game, our tutors make sure we can play one of our best poison options in a timely manner.
• Later we can use them to fetch for answers, proliferate or value engines like Evolution Sage or Contaminant Grafter and to unlock the above-mentioned interactions.
