To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

This is my favorite deck because it is so much fun! I designed it so it could easily be sideboarded to play in any format.
Kaervek’s Torch can be swapped out with Molten Blast or Searing Blaze to make it Modern legal.
Gargoyle Sentinel can be swapped with Skyclave Sentinel to make it Pauper legal.
The inspiration for this deck came from an idea I had when I was new and still learning Magic. I didn’t know about the history of other defender style decks but I wanted to see if a deck could win without attacking.
There are other cards that would add to its lethality but this deck is more about flavor than strength. It definitely wins however, it is built for flavor to be like a castle with its defender “walls” that synergize with burn spells to deal direct damage. This castle even has its own “moat” and “trebuchet”!
The heart of The Castle Deck is Electrostatic Field and Lightning Bolt. The Electrostatic Field deals the additional damage needed to really drive home the win.
An ideal opening hand would be 2 Lands, Counterspell, Lightning Bolt, Electrostatic Field, card draw, and another damage spell.
