Welcome to one of my favourite decks!

The point of the deck is to use the army as a source of damage for spells as Soul's Fire , Fall of the Hammer, Tail Slash but, expecially, for Chandra's Ignition !
The neat part is that all such spells puts +1/+1 counters on the army when you cast it, increasing the output of damage.

The side-strategy is dedicated to spells that gives trample or double-strike to the army (Monstrous Rage , Temur Battle Rage , Archetype of Aggression, Stalking Vengeance )

To fullfill the list there are a lot of spells producing tokens and/or providing amass orcs ability to sum-up with saruman trigger.
In the end you will have almost always your hand full, a good recursion of your graveyard and a big puffy cow-army VERY quickly.

Your clock should be like this:

  • T1-T3 ramp / cantrips / a creature / token generation (for blocking)
  • T3-T4 mandatory Saruman
  • T5-T6 start growing your army
once you have your army you can perform a bit of control (your deal-damage spells works as removals also) until you have one of the tutors of the deck ( Diabolic Tutor , Final Parting , Ringsight ) to pick Chandra's Ignition to wipe out everything and possibly kill at least an opponent.

The deck doesn't attack very often, it prefers to stay peacefully on defense and attract as less attention possible until there's a clear opening where to strike at full force, because your surprise ace is the ability to fling the army without losing it.

Depending on your pod or taste, you might want to reduce some of the spells that amass orcs in favour of Feign Death like effects or counters... for my pods this configuration is well enough.

This deck appears to be legal in EDH / Commander.
