Friendly Slivers (EDH / Commander)

Sliver deck with budget mana base, tailored for 4 player pod.

Flexible, friendly enough, not too explosive for casual games.
Not too dependant of its commander. The Sliver Queen kind of the secondary commander.

Tricks & Combos :

Sliver Overlord + Amoeboid Changeling = Permanently steal any creature.

Morophon, the Boundless + Mana Echoes = when 1 slivers already in play can cheat Sliver Overlord to play then tutor/cast all the slivers from the library to the battlefield.

Sliver Queen + Mana Echoes = Unlimited 1/1 Slivers and colorless mana. If attack impossible (lack of haste or stuff like Ensnaring Bridge...), Lavabelly Sliver / Necrotic Sliver will end the game.
Sliver Queen + Heartstone / Zirda, the Dawnwaker / Training Grounds + Basal Sliver = Unlimited 1/1 Slivers and black mana.
Sliver Queen + Heartstone / Zirda, the Dawnwaker / Training Grounds + Ashnod's Altar = Unlimited 1/1 Slivers and colorless mana.
Sliver Queen + Basal Sliver / Ashnod's Altar = Infinite ETB.
+ Dormant Sliver / Kindred Discovery = Infinite draw.
+ Aura Shards / Harmonic Sliver = Infinite Disenchant.
+ Lavabelly Sliver = Infinite damage & life.
+ Screeching Sliver = Infinite mill.

Intruder Alarm is a well known enabler for snowball casting / combos.

Zirda, the Dawnwaker cost reduction also works on Slivercycling / Sliver Hive / Unearth ability / Encore ability.

Classic Attack/Defense/Draw stuff.

Some protection/defense with :

• Sliver Hivelord = Indestructible
• Sedge Sliver = Regeneration almost free when combined with Cryptolith Rite / Gemhide Sliver / Manaweft Sliver / Elven Chorus (as long as we keep creatures untapped). Good for spot removal / blocking.
• Crystalline Sliver / Diffusion Sliver = Classic anti target
• Hibernation Sliver = To save key slivers in case of emergency
• Frenetic Sliver = Last resort response in case of removal. Sac outlet with ETB value if we win the coin flip.
• Bonescythe Sliver / Striking Sliver / Talon Sliver mostly for defense. Working great against large threats when blocking in group. Adding Deathtouch from Venom Sliver is a no brainer.

Nothing fancy on attack with :

• Shifting Sliver = Ultimate evasion
• Cloudshredder Sliver / Galerider Sliver = Flying (good for blocking too)
• Hunter Sliver = Assign blockers. Help killing annoying stufff. Can totally ruin a board with First Strike.
• Heart Sliver / Cloudshredder Sliver / Rhythm of the Wild = Haste.
• Muscle Sliver = +1/+1
• Sinew Sliver = +1/+1
• Sedge Sliver = +1/+1
• Sliver Legion = +X/+X
• (Rhythm of the Wild = +1/+1)
• (Tribute to the World Tree = +2/+2)

Situational stuff :

• Crystalline Sliver + Amoeboid Changeling = Can give shroud to prevent opponents targeting their creatures (aura / equip / instants...).
• Eerie Interlude / Ghostway = Blink for protection against board wipe. ETB can help draw / damage / lifegain / surprise disenchant.
• Necrotic Sliver = To remove annoying stuff. Can quickly turn in infinite board wipe with the Sliver Queen in play.
• Syphon Sliver / Lavabelly Sliver = Live gain always nice. Can help mitigate Hibernation Sliver cost.

Recursion with :

• Patriarch's Bidding / Living Death = Recursion from graveyard (sacrifice everything before with Ashnod Altar / Basal Sliver / Frenetic Sliver / Necrotic Sliver). Nice mass ETB.
• Dregscape Sliver = Situational fixer by bringing back specific slivers. Potentially get back dead creatures if we win the coin flip with Frenetic Sliver.
• Sliver Gravemother = Potentially can return the whole graveyard in play with Mana Echoes. Hilarious surprise finisher.
• Buried Alive = To set up the Sliver Gravemother surprise comeback combo (props to https://deckstats.net/decks/122386/1199660--primer-sliver-overlord-the-go):
  As prerequisites we must have Sliver Gravemother + Basal Sliver + Manaweft Sliver/Gemhide Sliver, all in the graveyard and 7 manas of any color available. (board wipe, mill, discard... or with Buried Alive)
  1. We use 7 generic manas to encore Sliver Gravemother and Manaweft Sliver/Gemhide Sliver: We have 6 tokens to generate 6 manas of any color by taping.
  2. We use 3 manas to encore Basal Sliver. We can now have 6 manas of any color in pool and 4 black manas with the sacrifice of 2 Basal tokens.
  3. We cast Sliver Overlord. We keep 1 blue (or red) mana and 4 black manas in pool.
  4. We use 3 black manas to tutor a 1 mana sliver (Striking Sliver / Galerider Sliver / Screeching Sliver) and use the last colored mana to cast it. 1 black mana remaining.
  5. We sacrifice the 1 mana sliver to the Basal Sliver to get 2 more black. 3 black manas remaining.
  6. We encore for 1 black mana. We can generate 3 manas of any color and have 8 black manas in pool by sacrificing the 3 tokens to the Basal Sliver.
  7. We can redo the operation for as long as we have bodies of 3 or less to sacrifice in the library.
  8. For a cost of WUBRG + WR + 7 manas of any color, we tutor the Sliver Queen and the Lavabelly Sliver and cast them to get online Infinite damage & life combo.

Card advantage with :
Dormant Sliver / Herald's Horn / Hollowhead Sliver / Kindred Discovery / Rhystic Study / Tribute to the World Tree = Draw
Sliver Overlord / Defense of the Heart / Eladamri's Call / Homing Sliver / Worldly Tutor / Bring to Light = Most of the time to get the Sliver Queen.

Casting from top of library (Elven Chorus / Realmwalker) with "mana dork" (Cryptolith Rite / Gemhide Sliver / Manaweft Sliver / Elven Chorus) with haste (Cloudshredder Sliver / Heart Sliver / Rhythm of the Wild). Can snowball quickly with Morophon, the Boundless (free cast) / Intruder Alarm (untap mana dorks).
Mirri's Guile / Sensei's Divining Top to help sorting the top cards of the library. Hollowhead Sliver / Screeching Sliver to help removing unwanted top cards.
Less Mana rocks in favor of mana fixing.
The mana base sould be balanced enough.
