Flavourful deck including humans and angels fighting evil.

Are your companions playing nasty things again?
Are they fuckin' up everything for you just by being there?
Are you fed up to see your world in flames?
Fear nomore! I have the solution to all your problems!

Just exile the problem. Tell it to go away. Or do it like Patrick Star, and just move it from the battlefield to outside the game.
The humans and angels of the multiverse have joined forces to aid you in your endavours and to make you just the asshole, you wanted to fight. But you have style!

Humans (or how I like to call them: "The Witchhunters")

Elite Inquisitor and Precinct Captain
Both have seen many battles and have risen through the ranks. Now they have strengths that only few humans ever possesed. The first one is always cautious and smells the reek of danger long before others, while the second one inspires the common people to join our cause.
Explanation:

  1. Note: Two two-drops with amazing upsides. The first strike scale well with the anthem effect of Angel of Jubilation and vigilance should not be underrated either!
  2. Note: The Precinct Captain has really great synergy with Mentor of the Meek. He may be worth it as a four of.

Mentor of the Meek
Rise and rise again until lambs become lions. He himself learned this truth the hard way. Now he is teaching this revealtion to his students, so they will rise from the Meek and be part of the Force that will shape the world.
Note: Card draw. We have 18-20 cards that trigger him and a token producing captain. Figure how strong that is.

Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Grand Abolisher
Life has a mean left hog, and the Wicked do not make it much easier either. But these poor fellows were beaten to the edge of utter desperation by the atrocities the evil commited. While their strength is not purging this evil, they try their best to be the greatest hindrace to their foul cause.

  1. Note: Grand Abolisher reduces the opponents casting to his turn, while Thalia, Guardian of Thraben taxes their non-creature castes. Be aware she also taxes you, she is kinda over-enthusiastic...
  2. Note: Both of the aforementioned are removal magnets in the right Match-Up. They just hinder the opponent in a reallly great way. But do not be afraid, removal that hit either of them can not kill thinks like Banisher Priest, Precinct Captain and Angel of Jubilation.

    Banisher Priest and Fiend Hunter
They banish the Evil and slay the Wicked. For their is no place in our realms this kind of scum deserves.
Note: While Exile sounds permanent you have to be aware of the fact that they can be removed and the threat returns. See it as a tempo advantage you gain and a removal magnet.

Angels (the heavenly advantage you gain for joining this alliance)

Angel of Jubilation

Ever thought your hunters are not motivated enough? She will take care of it. You thought it was disgusting to pay things with blood or sacrifice the helpless for ones goals? You are not alone anymore!
Note: All of her passiv effects are useful. You rarly see something this versatile so severly underplayed. We should be happy that we are Mono-White and are able to cast her.

Angelic Overseer
Once she was alone, her confidence had left her. Than we founded this alliance and gave her a worthy goal again. Now, noone is able to sway her beliefs and even death will not stop her.
Note: 18-20 humans that trigger her. Indestructible/Hexproof. You should be really hard pressed to find something more dangerous on a five-drop that sets them on a four turn clock.

Our Methods of Intervention (or the tools of the High-Judge)

Oblivion Ring and Banishing Light
You do not like it? Banish it into Oblivion!
Note: There is not much to say. While it is sorcery speed removal, it can target every permanent except lands which makes it just great removal overall.

Prison Term
You were threatend? They provoked you? Show them who is the boss by imprisoning their minions and threating their most dangourest creature, should it ever show it's face on the battlefield.
Note: Far more conditional removal than Oblivion Ring and Banishing Light while also being much more present in the opponents mind. It is just boogling their mind when they want to play Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and their Elvish Mystic is cureently on a Prison Term. (Yes, yes it really works. Not nearly as complicated compared to what Ugin, the Spirit Dragon had to do!)

Legendary Weapons we retrieved (these quills were once used to carve great deeds of light in our history and their purpose will be relived!)

Godsend
This weapon was not forged. It was found. Its name was already engraved on the blade. "Godsend". Legend says it could do both. Aid the gods that send it down to be used or end the gods that my not have send it. We really do not know but we are eager and willing to unreveal the blades secrets! May one again history be written at the edge of this sword!
Note: This weapon fits into devotion and produces a threat. It also limits our opponent the longer it stays attached to a creature on the battlefield.

Moonsilver Spear Soon to be replaced by Angelic Destiny
No weapon is known better by most of our men than the spear that was once used by the great Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Really, how could one forget the weapon that pierced the greatest evil of that time and ended the greatest war of the same. We dearly hope that it gets the deed done once again.
The angels view this also as a relic and follow its glow. We should be cautious that only the most rightousness of us wield this weapon or else we might not get off as cheaply as the first time we tripped over this mighty artifact.
Note: A threat producing weapon that produces threats and enhances already frighting threats. I think we can use this one successfully to threaten our opponent.

The realms we roam:

Emeria, the Sky Ruin
The place we had the first contact with the Angelic Council.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
Our devotion is growing and only the gods know the end of it. May our power never dwindle!

Planes
The home we cleansed of evil and call now our home.

Last but not least, the tricks we can pull off, if not everything went its succesful way.

Silence
Some guys are just pesky annoyances. Some others speak words of hatred. Stop them.

Nevermore
Laws. Without Laws our world would fall into disarray. The Wicked are always trying to exploit the system at its weakest spot. Now it is onto you to recognize the greatest danger and neutralize it by editing the law.

Brave the Elements
Sometimes the fields of war can be tough. Snow, fire or water. Now you can take on everything.

Revoke Existence, (Disenchant)
End their existence when Banishing or even the Realms of Oblivion aren't enough.

Path to Exile, (Swords to Plowshares; not Modern, but a cheaper casual variant)
Grant them a piece of land in exchange for their greatest danger. They do not have to agree...

Martyr of Sands
At some point everyone is in need of rescue. May the light be with the brave soul that sacrificed its life for our cause!

The: "You can include it, if you have the money/room or want to be different." - list.

Ghostly Prison

  • Some barriers are just in ones head and while their not physically, some opponents will never break them, because it is to taxing on their mind.
  • (Hard to place in the packed three mana slot.)

Baneslayer Angel

  • Just a badass. She can go toe to toe with [[Angelic Overseer]], because of her swiftness in battle and her life regaining aid. But be aware that she will never reach the annoyingness of an Overseer and her human companions.
  • (Has its pros and cons. It is your decision which lady you prefer.)

Avacyn, Angel of Hope

  • They call her "Angel of Hope". Never have I seen the word "Hope" misused so glaringly. As if we would need hope, when death never was a consideration and now not even a hindrance! It should sound more like Avacyn, Angel of Finality, because that's what she is to our greatest foe, the final sight in their pitiful lives!
  • (But now for real. If you have her, include her. The 8cmc mana cost will eventually be reached, either through dragging it into the late game or being really devoted thanks to Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

True Believer

  • Some believers say that their are two kinds of people. The non-believers and themselfs. This one is not disagreeing with you. He just thinks that calling oneself a believer does not necessarily differentiates one from the non-believers. The only thing that matters is that you stay true to your belief.
  • (He fits the devotion plan. You can make a two-two split with [[Grand Abolisher]]. Has a decent body and shuts down certain decks.)

The: "They were once included but got cut for various reasons mentioned next to the card." - list

Admonition Angel]]

  • She will appear, if she deemed our cause worthy. Her power grows with every region we take and she judges everyone living in the freed lands. If neceassary she will take action into her own hands and banish the evil.
  • (Note: A controled board wipe that hits everything but lands. But also conditional. No lands, No exile. A removal spell on a fully packed Admonition Angel can be devastating. Swapped her out for more "eternal" threats or not as conditional. Maybe the new card Hixus, Prison Warden from Origins.)

Gift of Estates

Champion of the Parish

  • He was born, raised and cared for in the Parish. He received his first kiss from the blond girl three streets away from his home at the market. He also apprehended the sorrows and pains of the townspeople and as the time had come he chose his path.
Becoming the Champion the people needed to feel save again. Standing up everytime someone had to.
  • (Note: This is a really good card. He scales very well in a deck full of humans. Sadly that may not be this deck. We just lack the (imo) needed minimum of 24-28 humans or returning human tokens. If you do not have enough humans like this deck a late [[Champion of the Parish]] is just a miserable to deck that will be hard pressed becoming anything better than a 2/2 or 3/3. Because of this I removed him in the early stages of the deck.)

TL;DR: Have some fun exiling their stuff, while being an annoying asshole. because this does not look like it, but it is essentinally a control deck.

If you have suggestions, I will be happy to hear them! Note please that while I want this deck to be as strong as possible, it should always be flavorful. Some cards are perfect in every sense for this deck such as flavor, effectivness or just badassery, but the reason they may not be included in the Main- or Sideboard is that I just do not have the money to buy them. Nevertheless they will be noted as strong alternatives.
