Final List. Separated combos for easy viewing.

I often feel bad playing this deck. Most of the time you're just stalling until you can drop a combo or use a gas card (Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire) to finish everyone off.

It's so easy for your opponents to combo off you have to make sure you get some protection and so I've included a infinite protection section.

  • Sudden Spoiling is probably the strongest one, because it will stop a lot of infinite mana combos or make the 50,000 tokens they just created pillows. I often allow token generation to happen until there are plenty of them and next turn I will tutor a Deadly Tempest if I have the mana (or just a Virulent Plague if not).
  • Tainted Æther is ridiculous against creature decks (Krenko or Selvala) Which also brings me to Withering Boon, which is good for use to stop Krenko from ever hitting the board or stopping the Selvala deck from dropping a Craterhoof Behemoth.

Some of the Nazi Cards -
Painful Quandary is pretty self explanatory. Teferi's Puzzle Box is a huge political card. You can choose to stack it so that the opponent either gets to keep the card tutored from Maralen or discards it with the box. Seizan Basically turns into each player losing 2 life at each draw step if Maralen is out.

Misc Value Cards -
Kalitas is good for protection against creature recursion. Lightning Greaves is good for protecting Marelen (which is also why I run Diabolic Tutor, I don't have a lot of creatures to swap the greaves to, so this gives me a way to remove Maralen from the game if needed). Lilianas Shade nets you a land and is a good creature to dump mana into for damage. Strionic Resonator is good for double fetching with Maralen to finish off a combo or to just use on a Ob Nixilis trigger to ping for another 10 damage.
