We've got a landfall subtheme, so creating token copies of lands is actually pretty good. It also allows you to continue ramping even if your deck has no more lands in it. Thrasios, Triton Hero is a great mana sink if we ever get a swarm of Locuses (Loc-i? Locus-ees? idk), and Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa is good with all our tokens.
Note that making a token copy of something doesn't copy the effects on it. So once you have a token copy of Cloudpost (or any other land), it won't be a creature, instead it will be safely tucked away with the rest of your lands until you're ready to animate the token and start populating. This makes our combo harder to pull off, but it also makes cards like Progenitor Mimic really good. (Look up "MTG Copiable Values" if you want to know more).
If you don't have a repeatable way to animate lands, the manlands like Faerie Conclave, Blinkmoth Nexus, etc. are able to animate themselves.
