The original purpose of the deck was to cheat out big Eldrazi as fast as possible. However in the process of filling out the gaps and trying to make the deck consistent i wanted to also fit in Cloudstone curio to possibly infintely bounce and cast 2 Eldrazi and getting the on cast effects for both of them. (infinite draw? infinite exiling opponents Permanents?)
While we're at it might as well try and fit another infinite in there with ancestral Statue and Impact Tremors / Purphoros, God of the Forge right?
The combopieces synergise with the deck and the other infinite as well right?
Well...
So far the deck runs like utter Jank, so it will still need some refining. I'll keep the List updated.
I wanted the deck to close out games rather quickly in order to keep the rounds short (my playgroup usually struggles presenting wincons early enough which makes playing stale after a while) but also keep the deck playable in a casual enviroment which is why i didnt want to run the efficient tutors like "Demonic Tutor".
UPDATE:
I took out most combo pieces and added Burn pieces instead. This lowers the power level and maximum potential of the deck but makes it feel less frustrating to play against and also alot more consistent.
This change also makes the original name "Rakdos Eldrazi midrange jank" inaccurate.
With more burn cards the deck also functions alot better without its commander which helps it close out games if the board gets wiped.
I still would like to fit more removal to make the deck more reactable to certain threats. Will keep the list updated...
In its current version i have had the most success by staying low, just drawing cards, putting down a haste enabler and only pump out my commander and 1 or 2 big threat creatures when needed or when you can go for a win. Even if you can get out giant creatures early on that usually makes you the target.
