To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is a black and white life drain deck, that contains two powerful combo options to win the game next to the normal creature combat. It is all about synergy effects: Getting lifepoints, let the game come to the midgame and finish the opponent with one of the three options. The deck emptys the opposite board and helps to stay alive for a long time. If you use spells and abilitys wisely, you can get the "sovereignty over the airspace", letting your flying vampires hit the opponent. Archangel of Thume can easily finish the game for you. Deathbringer Liege is also nice in the lategame. With the Liege and the Thornbite Staff you have two good options to kill creatures that are in your way, putting the thornbite staff onto the vampire nighthawk gives you an ultimate sniper.
The killer kombo in this deck is the exquisite blood in combination with the cliffhaven vampire and his ability. If you can activate this, it means the instant win for you.
The mana curve is looking not ideal but 22 lands should work out pretty well. 6 of them are mana fixing lands even if it is possible to play this deck without them because of the hybrid mana costs.
This deck is strong against almost every creature focussing deck. Burn decks can be played well if they are not too fast. Good control decks (especially with a lot of card advantage) can always be painful to play for this one.
Nevertheless this deck is easy and funny to play as the synergy almost works out automatically. Missing tutors, counterspells and card draw are the disadvantages here that you have to handle.
