Play better threats. The strategy is to have a better, more aggressive late game than other midrange decks and the pressure starts at 3 mana. As long as all of your threats demand removal, removal heavy decks can't keep up. If they have a larger than normal amount of removal they may be able to take out a stormbreath and a sarkhan when you are at five and six mana but even then more often than not they are out of removal when atarka is played. Generally you play two dragons (5 mana and 6 mana), they have removal for one but not the other and then you shove atarka on the field and swing double strike with the remaining dragon.
Sideboard:
With the current token based meta Arc Lightning is an absolute all-star. The majority of control decks are heavy removal light counter based and as long as that stays true, monastery siege matched with stubborn denial makes that matchup simple. You're only running two courser and generally you just pull those out against constellation or UW heroic and shove the full set of back to nature in. Which at two mana instant speed is absolutely back-breaking. Anger of the gods speaks for itself. You bring it in against aggro as extra hate and play your mana dorks more lightly when it sits in your hand. Also against hornet queen which is a serious problem if you didn't draw into atarka.
