To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
I loved warriors during my Khans block Standard time.
With all the additional tribal support out, I just had to build an EDH around them.
And now that Battlebond has produced so many amazing additional warriors, the deck just gets better :-)
This is NOT a competitive deck. It's more a mid to late game interactive deck.
I played Saskia as the commander for a long time, but was really missing the token production that Najeela can bring. She just make so many more cards and interactions playable, and can get me back into the game anytime.
This deck is 4 colors (Yasova's activation cost can be paid with red as well), and has only 3 sources of blue mana, so that Najeela's second ability is more up to luck, which I like, since I find her too straightfoward powerful with it. Her second ability should have been made with the restriction that she herself needs to be attacking. What warrior stays back and lets the others get the glory?
The one combo this deck has: have one of either Metallic Mimic or Bramblewood Paragon out, plus Goblin Bombardment and Furystoke Giant. Sack the giant, ping an opponent, Giant comes back with a -1/-1 counter which gets nullified by one of the lords, repeat. Gets twice as fast with Impact Tremors or Thrasher Brute out as well. Blasting Station could make a backup Goblin Bombardment.
Notable "unconventional" choices (for the fun of it):
Nacatl War-Pride. Seriously nuts with Najeela: attack with twice the number of creatures the opponent has
Sylvan Offering: A second Secure the Wastes to give someone a board presence who needs it to keep someone else from getting out of hand
Champion of Stray Souls: A great late game engine and mana sink. Bring the best warriors from your graveyard back sacking a few tokens, cast Najeela, take over
