To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This deck takes elements of U/R control decks but shifts the draw engine to a cycle based one using New Perpectives to quickly find the win conditions you need. As opposed to Torrential Gearhulks or Approach of the Second Sun, this deck tries to leverage the cycling cards to get win with The Locust God. Set up a New Perspectives the turn before and you can start making insects the turn you play him. Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh is also pretty good for ending the game once your opponent starts to get low on resources and life. Abandoned Sarcophagus is great in controlling matchups because you can play it after a counter war and then be able to access all those counter spells again since they all have cycling. Honestly, you probably only need The Locust God as a finisher and you could probably take out the black altogether, but the lands cycle anyways so it doesn't hurt the deck much and I just really wanted to play Bolas.
Any suggestions that could make this better or more consistent would be greatly appreciated since I am fairly new to control decks.
