To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!

(-> Your Settings)

Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

WCE #6 was a "Lesser Tribes" challenge-- Each player picked a tribe that isn't one of the traditional supported tribes, and built a rich, flavorful Tribal deck around that. (i.e. no Goblins, Clerics, Soldiers, etc.) No "universal tribal cards" like Door of Destinies or Adaptive Automaton were allowed. I was tempted to pick Volver or Sand or Triskelavite or something like that just to be silly, but I ended up going with Archers because (a) they share a synergistic identity that makes them fit together nicely in a deck, and (b) i liked the idea of making my opponents fight in the shade.

It plays as a sort of "wide control deck": Once it gets enough archers on the battlefield to stabilize a bit, it can hold off almost any number of creatures indefinitely; eventually you play a Doyen and alpha strike for a near-guaranteed victory. The only really big flavor losses in the maindeck are Flying Carpet and Bullwhip; I'd much prefer if Flying Carpet were named "Skeet Thrower", since that's what I'm using it for. Bullwhip is just too good in this deck not to run at least one, so I'm going to imagine that it's some kind of taunt ability.

I updated this list a little bit post-event; the deck could be a lot better if it were refocused on 4-ofs of the better cards, but I don't want to cut too many of the fun and flavorful one-ofs just to make it more powerful.
