Commander: Savra, Queen of the Golgari

Win Condition: Combat damage

This is a three-part combo deck consisting of Savra, something to sacrifice (e.g. Reassembling Skeleton) and something that does the sacrificing (e.g. Phyrexian Altar).

Once the field is moderately clear send in the big hitters!

Control mechanisms:
Generate a creature to sacrifice, sacrifice a creature, generate multiple effects from the sacrifice. What could be simpler?

At times with this deck I think that bathing a cat could be simpler!

Main beneficiary from the sacrifice (other than the thing doing the sacrifice) is Savra herself; when all 3 bits of the combo are in place she essentially ensures the only person with any creatures is her controller.

Grave Pact also works well with both Savra on and off the field.

Pros:
Really, really effective when all the bits are in place.

Cons:
Don't always get all the bits in place all at the same time.

Oddity (I always try to put one in each deck):
Possibly the candidate for strange choice is Worldspine Wurm - am I really going to spend 11 mana to put a 15/15 into play so that I can sac it to generate three 5/5 green wurm tokens?

Of course I am - you obviously don't know me very well!
