Kill your opponents with Volrath, the Shapestealer. Either Voltron-Style, heavyliy pumped creatures (Master Biomancer, Cultivator of Blades) or with poison counters. Distribute Counters on creatures in play and use Volrath, the shapestealer's shapeshifting ability to grant evasion, protection and infect.

Creatures with powerful attack-triggers (Grave Titan, Frost Titan), static abilities (Phyrexian Crusader) or creatures which protects themselves, best if the can fuel themselves with counters (Cultivator of Blades, The Haunt of Hightower, Lothleth Troll, Predator Ooze) are main targets in this deck's arsenal for Volrath, the shapestealer.
Creatures with on-hit abilities which scale with the creatures power (Cold-eyed Selkie, Needle Specter, Cephalid Constable) are extremly powerful with the 7/5 body of Volrath, the Shapestealer.

Crumbling Ashes and Volrath the shapestealer form a 2-card synergy dealing with opponent's most dangerous creatures. Especially powerful with Necroskitter in play.Havengul Lich is a toolbox in this deck, allowing reanimation of key creatures or copying powerful activated abilities of shapeshifters like Aetherling, Thornling or Ending.

Master Biomance has probably the most powerful synergy. When copied by Volrath, the shapestealer, the 7 power of volrath adds an additional 7 +1/+1 counters to all creatures entering the battlefield.

Generally, this Deck is tuned for high flexibility due to shapeshifters with clone-abilities like Dimir Doppelganger, Alter Ego or Spark Double and a vaerity of static and trigered abilities on several creatures. For a more focused startegy, these cards can be cut for powerful infect cards like phyrexian swarmlord or phyrexian hydra or tainted strike.
