To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Basic super friends deck for the most part. Gideon is a powerhouse!!! i think with back up from Ob and Sorin it should be pretty good. I'm not entirely sure on the mana base but I believe it is pretty close to what you want. It may be a little clunky at first and if you try it out and feel like a better mana base is better switch it up and let me know. The rest of the deck is pretty straight forward control. Counters, card digging, sweepers and single target kill spells. The lack of a solid catch all 2cmc kill spell has us in all bit of a bind so i'm not sure if Swift Reckoning is the card you want because of cards like Mantis Rider or others with vigilance but it is a nice place to start. Spell Mastery should be fairly easy to turn on but with Dig through time you may have to try and work out it a little bit.I went for a 3/2 split between Languish and Planar Outburst because I'm not sure how fast or slow the format will be. Judging from the last standard I think it will slow down a bit but not sure on how much but Languish is faster so it is the better place to start at. I added one of Utter End and Stasis Snare because of Ruinous Path being sorcery speed. It may be right to do a 2/2 split between Ruinous Path and Stasis Snare because not having alot of solid walkers in the format and also Stasis Snare can hit Gideon or Sarkan at instant speed and negates the indestructible on them because it will just exile it. Moving on to the sideboard. Arashin Cleric for red/burn/aggro decks is pretty solid. Duress for Control and midrange varities in mirrors, abzan, or jeski.Transgress the Mind could be worth a look at it may be better than duress for the sideboard. Horribly Awry is a better spell than clash of wills against aggro decks or midrange decks. It can hit all the way up to Rhino and exile it as well as those pesky Deathmist Raptors and Den Protectors. It can also hit the creature/walkers and early Hangarbacks(turn 2 or 4). Speaking of Hangarback I must say that i feel like the deck is a little weak to Hangarbacks but i don't see a real solution to it without changing the deck alot. If anyone finds one please tell me. Next up is Jace, for Control mirrors and midrange. Negate for midrange and control. Self-Inflicted Wound for Abzan and Ojuti's. If Sultai becomes a thing and it might I could see it being ok for that match up depending on what cards are used. The other Card if would use if you don't like Self-Inflicted Wounds would be Surge of the Righteous but I think Self-Inflicted is a better start and Lastly up is Ugin. Ugin maybe should be main deck but Devoid decks could be a thing and if that happens he will only be good part of the time. Stil good against Control and Midrange variants.
Edit: 09/30 so after some testing with the deck I found out that I really did not like swift reckoning because of eating all your graveyard with Dig it made it pretty bad agains hangarbacks and Mantis Riders plus I like the instant speed more for aggressive decks. Gaea's revenge is also a card you may want to be mindful of and also those lumbering falls. I'll be trying out the Celestial Flares to see if it is better. Another Thing of note is that Ruinous Path is terrible if you want to be holding up counter magic. I've increased my Stasis Snares and reduced my paths. Stasis Snare is also a great answer to hangarbacks. I found in testing against them that if I snared them I would increase my chances of winning by a huge margin. Because of the increase to white I cut a sunken hollow for a plains m. Another white/blue land maybe correct but I'm going to try the plains first.
