Manabase doesn't have to be broken alpha $$$ - just listing the deck in its most optimal form (the land versatility really helps with the fetchlands and help thin the land count for Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder triggers).

Basically you're dropping your Orcish Lumberjack / Birds of Paradise to ramp you up into the more expensive ogres, also some cost reduction in there to help with that, and all the mid-range spells set up massive combos. The deck thrives around Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs (why he is a 4 of, even as legendary). But Ruric Thar the Unbowed can also win games quickly as well.

Don't underestimate the lifegain that Whip of Erebos.

Always need to carry some artifact / enchantment removal to be more well rounded. Cindervines or Destructive Revelry would be my choices.
