Fervant Forger (Modern)

Based on this deck here, only the combo actually makes sense:

1. Get fervent champion and sunforger on the field at the same time with at least one white and one red mana available.
2. Sunforger equips to fervant champion for free. Use the mana to activate forger's ability.
3. Search for manamorphose and make another RW.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all the manamorphoses are used.
5. The deck is very flexible at this point, but the basic option at this point is to use sunforger on fists of flame. Fists of flame should give fervent champion 6 power and trample. Re-equip sunforger and you have a 12/1 first strike trampler.

Additional options:
-If you a have RRWW available, you can also use forger one more time to get boros charm and give the 12/1 trampler double strike too.
-If you NEED the double strike to win, but some of your mana is tapped, search chance for glory. Then when you start the next turn with all your mana available, do the combo and get both fists and charm.
-You can also just search for a utility spell. You'll have +4ed and be attacking with a massive body. You probably win without the combo at this point anyway.
