To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Here's the basic strategy:
Step one: Have a creature out on the battlefield
Step two: Cast Jeskai Ascendancy
Step three: Throw a retraction Helix on your creature and bounce the biggest baddie on the field
Step four: Drop Spidersilk net, untap your creature and add a +1/+1 counter to it.
Step Five: Tap your creature to retract Spidersilk Net.
Step six: Drop Spidersilk Net AGAIN, untap your creature and add a +1/+1 counter to it. Keep doing this until your creature has enough power to kill your opponent in one punch.
ALTERNATE ENDING:
If your opponent has quite a few creatures on the board already (Quite the possibility if you don't have a good draw or you completely miss your scry cards... It happens.) then you can choose to activate Jeskai Ascendency's second ability WHILE buffing your creature to allow you to draw cards until you hit Altar of the Brood. (If you haven't dropped a land this turn, drop a basic land from your huge pot of cards you've just drawn to ensure you can pay the mana cost for altar) Now, you can keep the combo going and mill your opponent's entire deck in the same turn.
Congratulations.
You just finished the game in one round probably while being underestimated because you have a dinky 0/3 starfish or a tiny 1/1 goblin out, while your opponent has a hand/board full of dragons or eldrazzi or something to that effect.
At this point you need to quickly pack up your cards before someone throws a fit, because people get REALLY upset that you one-turned them with a "Cheap" combo.
Now.
Here's the fun part...
Any comments on how to accelerate scry would be greatly appreciated. Currently the deck runs inconsistently. Sometimes it'll be great and the combo will come before anyone can do anything about it. But other times I'll completely miss out on basically ALL of my scrying power until way late game... and that means trouble as this combo is supposed to spring early game before opponents can afford huge creatures or fancy burn spells.
