Printed in the first product developed for EDH from WotC, Animar, Soul of Elements is a really powerful and flexible commander in the Temur colors that leaves a lot of room to sperimentation and personalization. This is a deck built with the value aspect in mind.

All we want to do is play a lot of creature to put even more +1/+1 counter on Animar and abuse of the discount on our creature. To do so, our deck will have a good bunch of good creatures and some ways to keep our hand full.

Starting with the +1/+1 counter, we could use Hardened Scales, Forgotten Ancient and Pir, Imaginative Rascal to let Animar grow faster, Plaxcaster Frogling to protect it and Master Biomancer to rebuild in case of removal.

From here, we just have to keep our hand full of creature and keep playing them until we can easly win the game. Beast Whisperer, Primordial Sage and Soul of the Harvest are just perfect but we have acces even to Vizier of the Menagerie, Prime Speaker Zegana and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth (maybe for free).

Even our removal are on a stick, like Acidic Slime or Meteor Golem, and counterspells, like Draining Whelk and Venser, Shaper Savant, so we definitely want something to bounce our own creature, like Familiar's Ruse, Man-o'-War, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or Temur Sabertooth but Cloudstone Curio is just the best.

While it's ok to win attacking with an huge Animar, Soul of Elements, we can easly use other ways to defeat our opponents and the best one is Ancestral Statue with Purphoros, God of the Forge. We just need Animar with at least 4 +1/+1 counters and we can play and bounce Ancestral Statue to the win. Palinchron does the trick too, but needs two sources of blue mana and at least 5 +1/+1 counters on Animar.

Another way around is with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts for infinite ETB and hasty creatures. Even Inferno Titan and Walking Ballista can win us the game, but we need time and something like Cloudstone Curio.

Animar, Soul of Elements is the commander perfect for you if you like lot of good creatures, lot of personal choise and a lot of fun in Temur colors. Strong, flexible and capable to win suddenly while well covered, it's something to try and play!

Beast Whisperer, Primordial Sage e Soul of the Harvest sono semplicemente perfette ma abbiamo accesso anche a Vizier of the Menagerie, Prime Speaker Zegana e Kozilek, Butcher of Truth (magari gratis).
