[EDH] Animar, Soul of Elements - Artifact version

Printed in the first product developed for EDH from WotC, Animar, Soul of Elements is a really powerful and flexible commander in the Temur colors that leaves a lot of room to sperimentation and personalization. This is a deck built with an Artifact theme.

All we want to do is play a creature to put +1/+1 counter on Animar and abuse of the discount on our creature. To do so, our deck will have some key creatures and ways to gain advantage playing arount the artifact type.

To let Animar grow, our mana section is full of artifact mana creature like Alloy Myr, Palladium Myr or Opaline Unicorn and the evergreens Solemn Simulacrum and Burnished Hart. Obviusly we want also the mana rocks like Sol Ring, Fellwar Stone and Chromatic Lantern.

To play our artifact spell for free (or heavly discounted) we have Etherium Sculptor, Foundry Inspector and Jhoira's Familiar while we can find what we need with Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain or Vedalken Archmage and Treasure Mage, Trinket Mage and Trophy Mage. Another good way to get some real discount is with the "Superconvoke" sinergy with Chief Engineer and Paradox Engine.

With all those creature ready to discount our artifacts, we have to play the draw all deck combo with Sensei's Divining Top and Magus of the Future!

Once we found what we need, we can easly win with Purphoros, God of the Forge and Ancestral Statue combo. We just need Animar with at least 4 +1/+1 counters and we can play and bounce Ancestral Statue to the win. Palinchron does the trick too, but needs two sources of blue mana and at least 5 +1/+1 counters on Animar. We can even use Altar of the Brood instead of Purphoros for the same resoult.

Of course we can win attacking with an huge Animar, Soul of Elements or playing (maybe for free) huge creatures like Blightsteel Colossus, Myr Battlesphere, Wurmcoil Engine or Walking Ballista, but we can have fun with a stormish approach with Aetherflux Reservoir.

Having the possibility to easly play a lot of artifact, like in the Sensei's Divining Top and Magus of the Future combo with Ancestral Statue, we can try to gain life and shoot everybody with Aetherflux Reservoir and the help of Hurkyl's Recall and Retract. Sure, we have to play again Aetherflux Reservoir, but should be easy... or we can count on Reckless Fireweaver instead.

Animar, Soul of Elements is the commander perfect for you if you like lot of good creatures, lot of personal choise and a lot of fun in Temur colors. Strong, flexible and capable to win suddenly while well covered, it's something to try and play!

Stampato nel primo prodotto sviluppato da WotC per EDH, Animar, Soul of Elements è un comandante potente e flessibile nei colori Temur che lascia un sacco di spazion per la sperimentazione e la personalizzazione. Questa lista è stata costruita tenendo a mente l'aspetto value.

Tutto ciò che vogliamo fare è mettere segnalini +1/+1 su Animar e abusare dello sconto sulle nostre creature. Per farlo, il nostro mazzo alcune creature chiave e modi per trarre vantaggio dalle carte artefatto.

Per far crescere Animar, la nostra sezione mana è piena di creature artefatto fonti di mana come Alloy Myr, Palladium Myr o Opaline Unicorn e classici come Solemn Simulacrum e Burnished Hart. Ovviamente vogliamo anche fonti di mana come Sol Ring, Fellwar Stone e Chromatic Lantern.

Per giocare le nostre magie artefatto gratis (o pesantemente scotate) abbiamo Etherium Sculptor, Foundry Inspector e Jhoira's Familiar mentre possiamo trovare cosa ci serve con Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain o Vedalken Archmage e Treasure Mage, Trinket Mage e Trophy Mage. Un altro modo per avere un serio sconto è con la sinergia "Superconvocazione" di Chief Engineer con Paradox Engine.

Con tutte queste creature pronte a scontare i nostri artefatti, dobbiamo assolutamente giocare la combo per pescare l'intero mazzo con Sensei's Divining Top e Magus of the Future!

Una volta trovato il necessario, possiamo facilmente vincere con la combo Purphoros, God of the Forge e Ancestral Statue. Ci servirà soltanto Animar con almeno 4 segnalini +1/+1 e potremo giocare e rimbalzare Ancestral Statue fino alla vittoria. Anche Palinchron ne è in grado, ma ci servirebbero due fonti di mana blu e almeno 5 segnalini +1/+1 su Animar. Possiamo anche usare Altar of the Brood al posto di Purphoros per lo stesso risultato.

Ovviamente possiamo vincere attaccando con un enorme Animar, Soul of Elements o giocando (magari gratis) enormi creature come Blightsteel Colossus, Myr Battlesphere, Wurmcoil Engine o Walking Ballista, ma possiamo anche divertirci con un approccio quasi storm con Aetherflux Reservoir.

Avendo la possibilità di giocare molti artefatti facilmente, come nella combo con Sensei's Divining Top e Magus of the Future combo con Ancestral Statue, possiamo provare a guadagnare punti vita e sparare tutti con Aetherflux Reservoir e con l'aiuto di Hurkyl's Recall e Retract. Certo, dovremo rigiocare Aetherflux Reservoir, ma dovrebbe essere facile... o possiamo invece fare affidamento su Reckless Fireweaver.

Animar, Soul of Elements è il comandante perfetto se ti piacciono tante belle creature, un sacco di scelte personali e tanto divertimento nei colori Temur. Forte, versatile e capace di vittorie improvvise mentre ben protetti, è qualcosa da provare e giocare!
