[EDH] Prime Speaker Vannifar - Toolbox version (EDH / Commander)

I choose Prime Speaker Vannifar form the legendary creature of MTGRNA because Simic is my love but mostly because it's really really powerful being Pod on a stick.This decklist is meant to play around the toolbox potential of our commander and be sure to adapt to the game if needed.

Let's start with the cream! To abuse of Prime Speaker Vannifar we also need to give her haste and to untap her. For those reasons we run Concordant Crossroads, Thousand-Year Elixir, Swiftfoot Boots and maybe Lightning Greaves for the haste part and Retreat to Coralhelm, Seeker of Skybreak,
Pemmin's Aura, Freed from the Real, Intruder Alarm and Thornbite Staff for untap part. This last two are just so powerful if we can put one in play we should be able to win easly.

Beside that, we can use Rings of Brighthearth and Illusionist's Bracers to double Vannifar's ability, Loaming Shaman and Elixir of Immortality to put in our library the piece in our graveyard and Brainstorm and Riverwise Augur to do the same from our hand.

A way to untap aggressively Vannifarnother is tutor for creature with untap ability. Limiting ourselves, in order we have:

CMC 1 Wirewood Symbiote and Quirion Ranger
CMC 2 Scryb Ranger
CMC 3 Bounding Krasis and Pestermite
CMC 4 Breaching Hippocamp

Relying on this little CMC ladder, we can easly find what we need in our deck.

But what we can find? Beside all the creature I've already metioned, we have Acidic Slime and Caustic Caterpillar as removal, Spellseeker and Trophy Mage as tutor, Glen Elendra Archmage and Dosan the Falling Leaf as proection and, why not, Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Gyre Engineer for combo!

With Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Selhoff Occultist, Grazing Kelpie and Ravenous Baloth in play we can easly mill all our opponents. Sacrificing Grazing Kelpie with Ravenous Baloth while Melira is in play we can have infinite ETB and Death and Selhoff Occultist will just do the rest.

Gyre Engineer can instead combo for infinite mana with Pemmin's Aura or Freed from the Real, mana that can be spent on Duskwatch Recruiter to find Walking Ballista and kill everybody!

It's imporant to notice that all of those are creature cards, cards that we can easly tutor with Prime Speaker Vannifar. Of course, considering that we need some creature to sacrifice, it's useful to play mana dorks in our ramp section and keep attention to this tipe of card.

Prime Speaker Vannifar is easly personalizable commander deck that can satisfy different player with different taste. I think it's going to be a really fun deck!

Ho scelto Prime Speaker Vannifar tra le creature leggendarie di MTGRNA perché Simic è la mia gilda ma soprattutto perché è davvero davvero fortissimo essere Pod con le gambe. Questa deckllist è pensata per giocare attorno al potenziale toolbox del nostro comandante ed essere sicuri di adattarci alla partita se necessario.

Iniziamo con le chicche! Per abusare di Prime Speaker Vannifar ci serve anche darle rapidità e stapparla. Per questo giochiamo Concordant Crossroads, Thousand-Year Elixir, Swiftfoot Boots e forse Lightning Greaves per rapidità e Retreat to Coralhelm, Seeker of Skybreak,
Pemmin's Aura, Freed from the Real, Intruder Alarm e Thornbite Staff per lo stap. Queste ultime due sono così forti da metterci in una posizione da cui dovremmo vincere facilmente.

Oltre questo, possiamo usare Rings of Brighthearth e Illusionist's Bracers per raddoppiare l'abilità di Vannifar, Loaming Shaman e Elixir of Immortality per mettere nel nostro grimorio i pezzi nel nostro cimitero e Brainstorm e Riverwise Augur per fare lo stesso dalla nostra mano.

Un modo per stappare Vannifar può aggressivamente è però tutorare creature che possano stapparla. Limitandoci, in ordine abbiamo:

CMC 1 Wirewood Symbiote e Quirion Ranger
CMC 2 Scryb Ranger
CMC 3 Bounding Krasis e Pestermite
CMC 4 Breaching Hippocamp

Facendo affidamento su questa mini scalata al costo di mana, possiamo facilmente cercare quello che ci serve nel nostro mazzo.

Ma cosa possiamo cercare? A parte le creature già citate, abbiamo Acidic Slime e Caustic Caterpillar come rimozioni, Spellseeker e Trophy Mage come tutori, Glen Elendra Archmage e Dosan the Falling Leaf come protezioni e, perché no, Melira, Sylvok Outcast e Gyre Engineer per le combo!

Con Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Selhoff Occultist, Grazing Kelpie e Ravenous Baloth in gioco possiamo macinare facilmente i nostri avversari. Sacrificando Grazing Kelpie con Ravenous Baloth mentre Melira è in gioco potremmo avere infinite ETB e morti e Selhoff Occultist si occuperà del resto.

Gyre Engineer invece può scombare per mana infinito con Pemmin's Aura o Freed from the Real, mana che può essere speso su Duskwatch Recruiter per trovare Walking Ballista e uccidere tutti!

È importante notare che queste sono tutte carte creature, carte che possiamo facilmente tutorare con Prime Speaker Vannifar. Ovviamente, considerando che ci serve sacrificare creature, è utile giocare mana dork nella sezione mana ramp e mantenere l'attenzione su questo tipo di carta.

Prime Speaker Vannifar è un comandante facilmente personalizzabile che può soddisfare diversi giocatori con gusti differenti. Per me sarà un mazzo davvero divertente!
