King Macar, the Gold-Cursed is a unique mono B legend funny to build around. Thanks to its Inspired trigger it's possible to remove threats while ramping on artifacts.
It's easy to tap King Macar attacking or with some vehicle, but the untap part it's pretty difficult in mono B. We can use Umbral Mantle and similar but at that point will be easyer making infinite mana with Magus of the Coffers. Even if not infinite, we can use a lot of mana, create with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Cabal Coffers and some other lands to replay King Macar or to cast Exsanguinate or Walking Ballista.
If we start building our fortune in Gold, we can start playing around those strong artifact. Beside Herald of Anguish, I don't think Improvice would do much so I decided to play around some drain effects like Disciple of the Vault and some other good cheap artifact like Lotus Petal to sacrifice.
To play midrange we should be sure to have cards in our hand so Bolas's Citadel and Necropotence are a must. While we are here, we can play Aetherflux Reservoir + Sensei's Divining Top to eventually combo off.
This may not be the strongest deck, but it's sure different! May be worthy to try and play King Macar, the Gold-Cursed and experiment with its build.
