Hanna, Ship's Navigator is a great old mtg legend that could finally shine where edh was born. Her great ability and the versatility that artifact and enchantment allows with her in charge are fantastic for beckbuilding.

The best approach should be a balanced deck with artifacts and enchantments, but where is the fun of building a focused list? This in particular has an enchantment focus and has different ways to win the game.

First of all, we want to get the best out of the recursion that Hanna, Ship's Navigator gaves us and Seal of Cleansing, Walking Ballista, Burnished Hart and Commander's Sphere are some of the best cards to do so. To have even more recursion, we play things like Open the Vaults and Sun Titan while protecting Hanna with Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots and Curator's Ward.

This deck makes great use of Claws of Gix, artifact that let us sacrifice our permanent. We can use it to keep exiling permanents with Oblivion Ring, exiling creatures with Journey to Nowhere and have a better control on our Sagas.

With Hanna in mind, Helm of the Host and Rings of Brighthearth are great cards to activate her ability multiple times, but the rings gives us even a sweet combo potencial with Basalt Monolith for infinite colorless mana. Coping the untap ability of the Basalt Monolith we can keep growing our mana pool and we can use all that mana for cast our huge stuff or eliminate an opponent with Blue Sun's Zenith or win the game with Walking Ballista.

Talking about combo, beeing an enchantment focus list let's us play effectively Opalescence and Starfield of Nyx, that gives us even more recursion. Those two cards synergise perfectly with Parallax Wave, letting us exile all our opponents creatures simply putting all it's ability on the stack and using the last one to exile Parallax Wave itself. We can do the same with Parallax Tide, but we cannot exile it as with Parallax Wave, instead we can sacrifice it in response with Claws of Gix and take it back with Hanna's ability.

Another thing we could do is play as much enchantment as possible and try to close the game with Ethereal Armor or Helm of the Gods on one of our creature or even on Hanna, Ship's Navigator to use commander damages. We can easly obtain a lot of token thanks to Sigil of the Empty Throne or Luminarch Ascension beside our possibility to animate our own enchantment.

Another cool combo that let us gain control of all permanent in play is sacrifing Aura Thief with Claws of Gix while Enchanted Evening (usefull with a couple of cards in our deck) is in play.

To keep building and reccurring our cards, we need time and this lead us to our prison section. Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Rhystic Study and Sphere of Safety should buy us a lot of time, while Smokestack is just perfect with Hanna as commander. We can make great use of Treasure Mage, Trinket Mage and Trophy Mage, cards that can finds a lot of key pieces for us.

If you like to slowly overwhelm your opponents and have multiple option to win the game, Hanna, Ship's Navigator is one of the commander perfect for you! Why not try it out?

Possiamo facilmente ottenere pedine grazie a Sigil of the Empty Throne o Luminarch Ascension oltre alla possibilità di animare i nostri stessi incantesimi.

Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Rhystic Study e Sphere of Safety dovrebbero farci guadagnare molto tempo, mentre Smokestack è semplicemente perfetta con Hanna come comandante.
