To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Hoard format is a solo-player or multiplayer coop game against an autonomous deck. In Hoard format players are allowed three turns to set up their defense. Then the onslaught begins!
On the Hoard's turn cards are revealed from the top of the deck until a nontoken (or nonland) card is revealed. All cards revealed this way are cast and players have the option to respond as normal (counters and such). Creatures in the Hoard deck all have haste and attack each turn!
If the Hoard deck loses life, then it mills that many cards instead. Survivors only win when the Hoard has been milled out!
Mind Seize isn't out just to kill, it wants your sanity as well! Islands in this deck are blue 2/2 Bird creature tokens with flying and defender, and Swamps are black 5/5 Zombie Giant creature tokens! Unlike typical Hoards, most creatures in this deck don't attack; they serve to block and protect the Hoard until the players run out of options. In fact, the only creatures that do attack are Sewer Nemesis, Consuming Aberration, Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker, Jace's Phantasm, Balustrade Spy, and the black 5/5 Zombie Giants. Also, Mind Seize had the ability to draw cards, giving the Hoard a hand. These cards, when drawn, will be played at the beginning of the Hoard's next turn. If Hex Parasite is cast, it neither attacks or blocks. Instead, it waits patiently for a planeswalker to devour, each turn removing X counters from a planewalker (where X is the number rolled on a six-sided die). Finally, Hoard decks have infinite mana, so when it casts Cyclonic Rift, the Hoard always Overloads it, much to the players' horror!
