To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Hoard format is a solo-player or multiplayer coop game against an autonomous deck. In Hoard format players are allowed three turns to set up their defense. Then the onslaught begins!
On the Hoard's turn cards are revealed from the top of the deck until a nontoken (or nonland) card is revealed. All cards revealed this way are cast and players have the option to respond as normal (counters and such). Creatures in the Hoard deck all have haste and attack each turn!
If the Hoard deck loses life, then it mills that many cards instead. Survivors only win when the Hoard has been milled out!
Welcome to Slayerfest! The biggest slaughter of wanna-be slayers all around the world! These vampires will drain the life out of players! All swamps are black 1/1 vampire creature tokens with lifelink! In fact, whenever the Hoard gains life, it puts that many cards from its graveyard onto the bottom of its library, making the Hoard seemingly immortal! Some cards in the Hoard deck contain "X" in its mana cost. When such a card is cast, roll a six-sided die. The resulting number equals "X". Likewise, this Hoard may draw cards. When it does so, the drawn cards will be cast at the beginning of its next turn. Finally, some non autonomous cards may be cast. Vampire Hexmage does not attack or block. Instead, it waits for a planewalker to destroy by sacrificing itself. When Malakir Bloodwitch is cast, count the nontoken creatures as eligible for the entering battlefield effect. Finally, Blade of the Bloodchief will always be equipped to the vampire with the highest power, on the Hoard's next turn.
