To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Comments of Cards:
Lands:
Scattered Groves - Sometimes very annoying coming in tapped, debating about using only 2-3
Sunpetal Grove - Great mana-fixer, solid all around
Shefet Dunes - Very helpful when you have a board of small cats and are afraid to attack
Card Value:
Shaper's Sanctuary - Hilarious form of card advantage, makes your opponents thoroughly think through whether they want to kill your cat or not.
Lifecrafter's Bestiary - Nice bit of tempo and card advantage. I definitely think this is a severely underrated card in Standard right now. The scrying on your upkeep is HUGE. It's basically a Search for Azcanta for creatures, just a tad worse.
Vanquisher's Banner - Amazing card advantage, pumps your cats, helps ensure your hand won't empty. 3 Seems like a lot but if one of these hits the board it's basically game. Debating going to 2 Banners and 3 Bestiary's...
Payoffs:
Appeal // Authority - Seems like an odd card, but being able to give a payoff trample (Or an adorned pouncer a buff AND trample) is a big upside. Also tapping 2 creatures and giving vigilance for just 2 mana is great in standstill matchups. I'd say play this card for the aftermath, with an upside of the front half of the card just occurring every so often.
Pride Sovereign - A complete under-cat. (Haha, jokes) Early game when the board is empty you can just exert it to make some more cats, while on a board with only a few other cats this guy quickly becomes one of the biggest threats in standard.
Regal Caracal - An AMAZING card, giving 7 Power and Toughness over 3 bodies, giving other cats lifelink, AND also pumping our cats once it hits the board are all major upsides and would reasons alone to play this card. A great draw when the board is full or onto an empty board.
Tempo Cats:
Adorned Pouncer - Underwhelming early game, can be decent with Appeal // Authority. Eternalize it however and it becomes a MAJOR threat and getting +1/+1 and lifelink from Caracal makes it a game-ender if left untouched
Sacred Cat - Just a tempo cat. Nice blocker, can come back to be a nuisance, lifelink is a decent perk
Scrounging Bandar - The weakest cat, if this wasn't budget these would be metallic mimics. Moving the counters onto an adorned pouncer or another payoff makes it alright.
Protection:
Cast Out - A great piece of instant-speed removal, something this deck definitely lacks. Cycling it when there's no need for it is also a nice upside.
Heroic Intervention - Great protection for ALL permanents (including artifacts and enchantments) Having them mainboard does throw off some decks, and is great against sideboard sweepers
Prowling Serpopard - A decent body, but performs very well in such a control-heavy Standard. Even decks like temur energy run counterspells so Serpopard really has some great random moments of glory. Debating going to 4 of them or adding the 4th in the sideboard to help against control
Sideboard:
Authority of the Consuls - Sideboard in against any kind of aggro or against tokens. Lifegain and stopping haste is amazing.
Crook of Condemnation - Against control or anything that uses graveyards while also enabling us to leave our usable graveyard cats in our graveyard.
Forsake the Worldly - Against control, Gifts, or anything that uses enchantments as removal. Have not had enough playtesting with this card and could be swayed to change this to another card that helps against faster decks.
Gideon's Intervention - Good against any deck that relies on specific cards to win/control you
Heroic Intervention - Bring in the extra against heavy board-wipe / removal decks
Shaper's Sanctuary - Against heavy single-removal decks and if you just need a bit more tempo and (somewhat) protection
Ixalan's Binding - Decks that rely on specific permanents to win. I.E planeswalkers
Life Goes On - Against Aggro, 8 points of life is a big swing
