This was one of my first serious decks. I think it was around 2009 (pre-Shadowmoor Extended) and I read about this strange deck: Aggro Loam.
Loam has later become one of my favourite engines, but at the time I hadn't understood its whole potential. In particular, I was unimpressed by the black splash (now I realize how broken Dark Confidant was, especially in this deck, but at the time I just saw some spare discard) so I cut it altogether with Birds of Paradise (and its ability to jump into second turn 3-drops...) to add cards from another popular deck: Tarmoburn.
My deck played less as a combo and more as a RG aggro that had more gas in mid-late game thanks to Life from the Loam + cycling lands.
With less focus on Loam and no black, half of the wish-box was out, so Burning Wish wasn't any longer needed and I ended up cutting Seismic Assault too.
I know I was wrong in several points, but I think the list was still an interesting one.
