This is a to-be tribal vampire deck, under the insights and guidance of Lady Voldaren. The theme and mechanics will work as such, with life draining and promptly vampiric beating. As a nice you-shouldn't-be-here deck, removals are plenty here and Olivia Bend-You-All is used to help controlling the board and ensuring her share of their blood. Here, Basilisk Collar makes her caressing warmer and more attractive than ever.

As our colors don't grant on-fileld enchantment defenses, disruption and Steel Hellkite will ensure our lady doesn't feed on the herald bringing such bad news. However, it may not be enough to control a meta full of lock enchantments and we'll must bite our share in other way, like Spine of Ish Sah effects or even a favor or two from our nulls neighbours.

Such a lovely lady brings the most noble followers and lords are not lacking here, inspiring the siblings to double efforts toward a paler society. Thus, they will provide brute force to remove the insignificant opposition. Even if Vampire Tempest would fit more here for obvious reasons, Dragon Tempest provides a pressure so hard on our cattle that they can feel the bleeding before the teeth are on them. There's more than one inconvenient fly messing around our siblings? Give it a Savage Beating and let the party go on to get feed from the next.

Also, this society would shine even brighter if we could built it over the corpses of every unlighted person and doing so with a single movement would be sang on ballads for years. Our instruments on this aspect are Wound Reflection, Sanguine Bond and Defiant Broodlord. Also, they are tuned better with Whip of Erebos (like Kiora our lady loves divine weapons) and experienced biters as Vampire Nighthawk.

This kind of raw power are like lighthouses to planeswalkers as well and Chandra's Reverberate ability makes the flies to see our fatal spells doubled. Would you accept double taxes by Blood Tribute ? Or seeing to two throats by the price of one? This wench will play her part here greatly and in the future she may be blessed with paler skin by the lady herself. However, nothing goes so smoothly if House Markov isn't acting in furtherance of our cause, basically removing most of one of our enemy's wish to resist. The presence of Sorin on Lady Olivia's party is as welcome as unpredictable, since he's a pariah not wishing to help any noble pale being. Now, regarding immortality and power thirsty, who is a better partner and pursuer on this enterprise than Lily and her lovely Veil?

Boseiju, Who Shelters All and Cavern of Souls were invited to grant us their endorsement. Voldaren's regards to blue mages. For blood magic is necessary more than blood, but mana as well. So, digging it from mana rocks as Fellwar Stone, Rakdos Signet and Talisman of Indulgence is nice indeed. Also, such polite crew of Vampires could make use of Urza's Incubator to accelerate the delivery of blood goblets. The ball might also take place by our Mirrorpool, granting reflections of our dearest guests or duplicating our delightful crimson fireworks.

Trouble makers are part of every party and we must have our ways to quickly solve the situation. Good folks like Falkenrath Aristocrat not only solve it as give a good beating on their masters as well, as Viscera Seer is an early incomer who seeks for viscera to see. There may be incidents involving our sweet lady that are to be seen for these gentlemen as well, unfortunately we have to be prepared for everything on these uncivilized days.

Keeping watch on newcomers is fundamental to be the best host, so we have peepholes all over the place, as Read the Bones, Night's Whisper (or Our Lady's Farewell as we call it), Sign in Blood (do we need to make clear it's her enemies'?) and Phyrexian Arena (anem et circenses for our bored guests).

Renovation is being studied here, blood for opportunities, so Sanguimancy and Ambition's Cost may get their way through. Also, another vampiric effect with such prophetical approach as Bloodchief Ascension is quite welcome.

More enlightenment will follow as this list is honed through multiplayer games and even some duels. Just remarking, this deck must be DC legal, that's why stuff like Necropotence and Sol Ring aren't listed here.

Replacements:

----- 21/03/2016 ------
From my current tests:

  • Bloodline Keeper, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, Mirri the Cursed are good pressure givers with their cumulative or tribal effects. With a good CMC of 3 ~ 4 it helped a lot swinging for permissive opponents without calling too much attention. After accumulating some counters they usually get targetd, what means one less removal for Olivia herself.
  • Stromkirk Captain with Vampire Nighthawk proved to be a sweet combination containing attacks to myself from fat beaters. Both are very efficient without one another, but due to their low CMC coming together was constant and kept life points high during early-mid game.
  • Falkenrath Marauders and Falkenrath Aristocrat were not so impressive as first thought, Marauders due to CMC and not changing the board state and Aristocrat for not being anything at all every time it hit the board.
  • Sangromancer: A must leave, nothing was accomplished by it on board every game it was there, perhaps due to the deck strategy so far, but it was kept in hand most than not for some games now.
  • Defiant Bloodlord: Incredibly high CMC with no impact so far, no mana until next turn and it had to be used several times to keep fat guys from my neck. Similarly, other 7 CMC costs as Chancellor of the Dross and Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet are proving to be much high for BR, even with Nykthos and Coffers on game. Perhaps with the discard/madness/reanimation mechanic these 3 will be more useful.
  • Blade of the Bloodchief: My meta includes dudes with sac strategies, so this blade makes the game a "quick answer me" or "quick end you".
  • Urza's Incubator: Funny how the people disrupt it, used the effect twice now. Good thing is that removal for the Blade and even Olivia first make it to this fellow.
  • Mana rocks gave a nice help when on game, so maybe others may follow it, as Coldsteel Heart or even Charcoal Diamond.
  • Bloodchief Ascension: Just efficient when aggro decks are playing, what haven't occurred so far. A few more games to this fellow, but as Lily a removal here would be more efficient.
  • Liliana of the Veil: Much more efficient in duels than multiplayer, perhaps another removal will better suit the slot.
  • Sanguine Bond: life damage strategy isn't going as good as planed, I found myself forced to an aggro style more than once due to better controller decks on play. Madness/discard/reanimate are each day looking more attractive here.
  • Disrupt spells: playing aggro as this deck is playing more than not have shown the brightness of single discard spells, giving intel and removing threats of permissive decks. Really a good help, so for now they stay as they are and perhaps even more disrupt will come.
