The goal of this deck is to drain and ping your opponent to death using effects like Throne of the God-Pharaoh, Bontu's Monument, Underhanded Designs, and Marionette Master. Bontu the Glorified or a Herald of Anguish can bring in the last few points of damage when our engine begins to run out of gas.
Improvise becomes a deadly mechanic when Throne of the God-Pharaoh is on the battlefield. Use Wall of Forgotten Pharaohs to cast big improvise spells, double ping opponents on your turn with Throne out, or leave them open as blockers and ping at the end of the opponent's turn. Treasure Keeper and Scrap Trawler make your walls and throne easy to recur while also providing added value when you sacrifice them to Herald of Anguish or Bontu the Glorified. Even more value can be brought from sacrificing the artifacts with Sly Requisitioner and Marionette Master out. Lots of creature removal built into our other cards like Underhanded Designs, Herald of Anguish, and Battle at the Bridge allows us to forego Fatal push, and include cheap noncreature removal in Lay Bare the Heart as a more budget way to round out the deck.

Side in Scarab Feast and Scavenger grounds against graveyard decks.
Replace Lay Bare the Heart with Harsh Scrutiny to deal with creatures resistant to our usual removal (eg. hexproof).
Bontu's Last Reckoning and Yahenni's Expertise can work against token swarm decks in a pinch.
Yahenni can Replace Bontu or Herald against aggro decks where speed is more important than evasion.

*Deck is ready for rotation into Ixalan. While no cards in the list will be rotating out, Duress will replace Lay Bare the Heart when it rotates in and Deadeye Tracker will replace Scarab Feat in the sideboard.
