Korvold, wants to play Modern goblins (EDH / Commander)

This is an aristocrats combo deck based on the current Grumgully, the Generous/Murderous Redcap combo deck in Modern.

So like any good aristocrats deck we have the basics of Blood Artist, Bontu's Monument, and Zulaport Cutthroat, but some new sweet additions like Judith, the Scourge Diva and Mayhem Devil allow you to start dealing with dealing with Planeswalkers and troublesome creatures on the board. Because we are playing goblins we also have access to Pashalik Mons, Sling-Gang Lieutenant. This bring our aristocrat count up to around 8-9 targets. We have some some great sac outlets that have some great utility like, Goblin Chirurgeon to protects key goblins on board, Skirk Prospector or Phyrexian Altar to generate mana, Sling-Gang Lieutenant/Goblin Bombardment to deal out the damage, Viscera Seer to smooth out draws, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician for some control and card draw. Krenko will be your main way of generating enough tokens to win the game with falling back on the combo. Grim Haruspex, Smothering Abomination, and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King provide you with a draw engine when you sacrifice your tokens or creatures.

So far we have been talking a lot about aristocrats, but this is a goblin deck at its base. What good goblin deck would it be with out and Impact Tremors/Purphoros, God of the Forge package. You are going to be generating a ton of creatures and this can easily close out a game. With all those token you can do a good wide strategy as well (this revolves mostly around Krenko), Goblin Chieftain, Grumgully, the Generous, and Judith, the Scourge Diva all help to pump up those 1/1s into nasty threats. Don`t forget Purphorose can also pump your board if you have the mana for it.

Lets take about the combo that the deck is based around. At the base it is;
Grumgully, the Generous/Rhythm of the Wild + Putrid Goblin/*Murderous Redcap + A sac outlet + Aristocrat/Damage based cards

• You can remove the Aristocrat/Damage based cards by using Murderous Redcap.

I`m going to walk you through the combo, you will need Grumgully, the Generous/Rhythm of the Wild + Putrid Goblin/Murderous Redcap + A sac outlet + Aristocrat/Damage based cards

1. Sac Putrid Goblin/*Murderous Redcap to your outlet.
2. Get value from sac outlet
3. Aristocrat/Damage happens
4. Persist triggers and returned Putrid Goblin/Murderous Redcap to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter
5. Grumgully, the Generous/Rhythm of the Wild will add a +1/+1 counter on Putrid Goblin/*Murderous Redcap removing the -1/-1 resetting the persist ability.
6. Repeat till table is dead.

Since this is a creature based combo we have a couple way to assemble it.

1. Doomsday is a flashy was of getting your pieces, but requires a fair amount of mana to get going. It is recommended that you get one of your protecting cards. There is no exact list of what to get as its going to depend what you already have in play, but in general you are going to was the combo pieces, card draw, and some piece of protection.
2. You have some of the general creature tutors like Demonic Tutor, Survival of the Fittest, Vampiric Tutor or Worldly Tutor.
3. Goblin tutors. Yes, you heard me right, goblin tutors. Boggart Harbinger, Goblin Matron, and Goblin Recruiter will find all your combo pieces.

The problem with creature based combos is they are fragile, so we need a some defense and recursion. Goblin Chirurgeon can make sure creatures stick around, and Meren of Clan Nel Toth can bring things back. Living Death and Patriarch's Bidding can work really well if most/all of your combo pieces are in the bin.
