To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is a agroo-combo deck, Kaalia is so powerful that you can choose to win by damage, or even combo as a result of combats.
My Main strategy always is cast Kaalia of the Vast with Haste fast as you can and put her army attacking, but depending on the type of deck you are playing against, you should adopt some alternative strategy and for that, the deck has the combos, and the anti-combo part, to penalize opponents that combo faster than Kaalia.
Kaalia of the Vast + Master of Cruelties:
Attack with Kaalia.
Kaalia's ability triggers enabling you to place Master of Cruelties tapped and attacking and make sure it's unblocked (Access Tunnel or Rogue's Passage take care of it, or used on Kaalia as well).
The Master of Cruelties' fist strike causes him to deal damage first and reducing the opponent's health to 1, then enter Kaalia's combat damage
Animate Dead or Dance of the Dead + Worldgorger Dragon
Cast Animate Dead, targeting Worldgorger Dragon in your graveyard.
Worldgorger Dragon enters the battlefield, exiling all other permanents you control.
Animate Dead triggers, sacrificing Worldgorger Dragon.
All permanents exiled with Worldgorger Dragon enter the battlefield including your lands enter the field untapped.
Target Worldgorger Dragon with Animate Dead.
Maintaining priority, tap all lands you control.
Let the triggers resolve.
This is the deck's main combo, generating infinite Mana and infinite ETB's, and with that we have the following ways to finish:
1 - infinite mana to cast Firebal, or Searing Touch
2 - Infinite ETB with any of these cards on the field:
Angel of Despair: destroy all permanents
Terror of the Peaks or Dragon Tempest: Damage when ETB
This combo can easily be responded to if Animate Dead is countered or removed, or the dragon is removed before the trigger to exile its permanents. Always keep an answer for this: Deflecting Swat, Silence, Red Elemental Blast, Pyroblast, Boros Charm or Flawless Maneuver protect your combo.
Or you can sacrifice Emergence Zone to cast in instant speed when all opponents' lands are tapped or all their responses are on stack.
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts
Activate Kiki-Jiki by tapping it, creating a token copy of Zealous Conscripts.
Zealous Conscripts copy enters the battlefield, untapping Kiki-Jiki.
Repeat.
replace Zealous Conscripts with: Restoration Angel, Combat Celebrant, Felidar Guardian.
Karmic Guide + Reveillark + Ashnod's Altar
Cast Reveillark.
Sacrifice Reveillark and the other creature with 2 or less power to Ashnod's Altar, adding 4 generic mana.
Target Karmic Guide in the graveyard and a creature with power 2 or less.
Karmic Guide and the power 2 or less creature enters.
Target Reveillark with the Karmic Guide trigger.
SacrificeKarmic Guide and the power 2 or less creature to Ashnod's Altar, adding 4 generic mana.
Repeat
Karmic Guide could be replaced by Sun Titan.
This combo generates infinite colorless Mana and can trigger ETB effects, Reveillark can also bring Kikki-Jiki or Kaalia.
You can use Razaketh the Foulblooded to tutor rather than generate mana
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Worldgorger Dragon
Cast Kiki-Jiki, then Worldgorger Dragon.
Holding priority with Worldgorger Dragon's exile ability on the stack, tap Kiki-Jiki to make a copy of Worldgorger Dragon.
Allow the copy of Worldgorger Dragon to exile all your other permanents including the original one.
The original Worldgorger Dragon's trigger now resolves, exiling the copy of Worldgorger Dragon, triggering its ability to bring back all your exiled permanents including Kiki-Jiki and the original Worldgorger Dragon.
Repeat to flicker all your permanents, giving you infinite mana and infinite "enter the battlefield" triggers.
Bladewing the Risen + Molten Echoes + Terror of the Peaks
Cast Bladewing; when Bladewing enters the battlefield, reanimation trigger goes on the stack; Molten Echoes creates token copy of Bladewing; second reanimation trigger on the stack; original Bladewing dies to legend rule; (optional) reanimate Terror of the Peaks; reanimate Bladewing; Terror of the Peaks damage trigger on stack; Bladewing reanimation trigger on stack; Bladewing dies to legend rule; repeat.
Bladewing the Risen + Terror of the Peaks + Twinflame
Cast Twinflame, targeting Bladewing the Risen and create a token copy of it.
Before ETB triggers are placed on the stack, resolve state-based actions and put the original Bladewing in the graveyard due to the legend rule.
Put Terror of the Peaks' and the token Bladewing's ETB triggers on the stack, resolving them in that order.
Terror of the Peaks deals 4 damage to any target.
Reanimate the original Bladewing card with the token's ETB trigger.
Before Bladewing's ETB trigger is put on the stack, resolve the legend rule again, sending it back to the graveyard.
Repeatedly reanimate the Bladewing card with its own ETB trigger by using the Legend rule to let it die.
Deal Infinite damage with Terror of the Peak triggers.
Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Nevinyrral's Disk
Activate Nevinyrral's Disk's ability to destroy all creatures artifacts and enchantments.
Your permanents have indestructible so they arent destroyed.
Repeat this on each of your turns.
Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame
Cast Twinflame targeting a creature you control.
With the spell on the stack, cast Dualcaster Mage targeting Twinflame or Heat Shimmer.
Allow Dualcaster Mage's ability to resolve, copying Twinflame and creating a copy of Dualcaster Mage.
The new token copy of Dualcaster Mage triggers targeting the original copy of Twinflame, and resolves to create another token copy of Dualcaster Mage.
Repeat steps 2-4 to make infinite hasty token copies of Dualcaster Mage.
Aurelia, the Warleader + Helm of the Host
During the start of combat, a new non-legendary token copy of Aurelia is created.
Attack with Aurelia for another combat step.
Repeat untill all opponents are dead.
Aurelia, the Warleader + Sword of Hearth and Home
With Aurelia on board, and the sword equipped in any other creature, after the combat damage, exile aurelia with the sword trigger, during the aditional combat phase, the Aurelia who that is on the field is not the same one that attacked in the previous combat phase, because that one was exiled, repeat the process.
