Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Poison has existed in Magic since Legends but was abandoned after Visions until the Scars of Mirrodin block. I wanted to see if the concept was at all viable in the early days of Magic, understanding that it would never be competitive. With Ice Age being the first standalone expansion, it acts as a great point to test the initial intent of poison in the basic set and its expansions. However, MTGO lacks Marsh Viper, severely limiting the pool of poison cards. Because MTGO allows for the affordable inclusion of power nine and dual lands, this build focuses on mana acceleration and playing around Serpent Generator. Since a pure test cannot be performed on MTGO, Ice Age is included in this build, as it provides some additional mana acceleration, removal, and defense options.
