This deck plays 8 creatures shadow which are evasive, one with double black cost to maximize the effect of the merchant. Fume is the perfect answer to Delver and Gurmag angler It is an effective blocker or attacker that can be played quickly. Among the removals i play the capsule for the sinergy with the merchant and because if it's played in the early turns it's a counter free removal on late game. unholy strength and eternal thirst are in synergy with the merchant and help us to do damage and to gain life points.
On side i have duress that it's a must against combo, echoing decay and soul reap against mirror.
