At its heart this is a Pox deck, utilizing seemingly symmetric discard / sacrifice effects to deny our opponents resources - ideally quickly emptying their hands and ruining their board state. [[Squee, Goblin Nabob]], Crucible of Worlds, Waste Not, Bitterblossom and Geth's Grimoire are the primary cards that break that symmetry.
From there the deck wins using any planeswalker ultimate or stolen creatures.
Instants, sorceries, creatures and planeswalkers can be played from our own or other player's graveyards with [[Kess, Dissident Mage]], [[The Scarab God]] and [[Nicol Bolas, the Arisen]]. Enchantments can be brought back with [[Deliver Unto Evil]].
The many mana rocks maximize the effectiveness of the mass land destruction spells, and make it possible to flip Bolas quickly.
Notable Synergies
[[Geier Reach Sanitarium]] + [[Notion Thief]] -> Opponents discard, You draw for each opponent (instant speed). Hard lock in 1v1 situation.
[[Devastation]] + Any planeswalker + Mana rocks -> Board superiority
[[Geth's Grimoire]] + Any discard -> Massive card draw
[[Squee, Goblin Nabob]] + Any self discard -> "Draw" an extra card for free.
[[Baral's Expertise]] + [[Nicol Bolas, the Ravager]] -> Blink [[Nicol Bolas, the Ravager]] to make opponents discard their bounced cards if their hands are empty.
