To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

I don't play this deck anymore, so there will be no further modifications/updates for the time being.

When I first saw Lovisa, I knew I wanted to design an EDH deck with her as the commander. I love tribal themes, and she offers some deck brewing flexibility by covering three tribes; but lastly, I ended up with a warrior tribal deck.
Naturally I have "tuned" this deck several times since the first game to adapt to my meta or to tweak the mana curve. The most recent modification dismissed the stax subtheme in favor of fast mana, spell cost reduction and more effective creatures. The result is a pretty explosive aggro deck with some disruptive elements.

This is a mono red aggro deck, so there really isn't much to explain. I play creatures, equip them and turn them sideways. :-)
Maybe just one hint: The sideboard contains ten useful cards which are complementary to the 99. Burning Wish can grant access to these cards during the game.

Deckbuilding and -tuning was a demanding process; but the result is a lot of fun to pilot. Of course there are more powerful decks out there, and mono red is considered the weakest color in the commander format for a reason; but after many entertaining games I can say that Lovisa and her filthy axe-wielders are able to perform VERY explosive and surprising turns, and can even win four player games. The playstyle is fast and aggressive, and there are no delicate synergies or complicated combos to consider, so this is also a good deck for players relatively new to Magic or the Commander format.
However, the low mana curve of this deck always poses the threat of overextending. A single, well-placed enemy board wipe can put me in top-deck mode and may even cost me the game. With mono red's limited possibilities for card draw and few cards for graveyard recursion I usually have a hard time against well constructed midrange decks.
Playtesting never ceases, so more adjustments may be made in the future. If you like my concept or have any suggestions for improvement, please don't hesitate to leave a comment or send me a PM. Thanks!
