Chad and the Cat Lady (Oketra the True EDH) (EDH / Commander) [Révision 9]

I've been on a bit of a kick of making mono-colour EDH decks, and really wanted to put a mono-white deck together as a home for all these Gideons I have (I just really like the character, especially since his heroic sacrifice, and some of the cards - say Martyr's bond from the signature spellbook - are actually quite poignant). However, mono-white seems like it can be a "challenge" in EDH, and my attempt with Kytheon at the helm didn't really seem to work at all well.

Hopefully this is a little better. Taking the idea from my Chandra deck (which is Chandra-themed, but has Torbran at the helm rather than the flip-walker), I instead put Oketra the True at the helm (her inclusion isn't out of keeping with the theme, after all, she was already in the 99). I then added an equipment & aura package to allow for a voltron-ish element. I upped the sweepers as the commander was now always indestructible (and the Gideons often are), while the likes of Odric, Lunarch Marshal can extend that ability and others to the rest of the team.

Sometimes I like to have theme songs for my decks. For some reason, this one is Queen's "Flash Gordon". Except it's actually about Chad Gideon. Either way, though, he really is the saviour of the universe!
