To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
I'm not saying this deck is tier 1, but it sure is a lot of fun to play. It is surprisingly strong in best of one now that the format has slowed down and these discard effects have gotten so much better.
Premise:
Heavy hand disruption in the early turns.
Midgame start sacrificing chumps to gain advantage.
*Late game is all about reanimating quality threats
Let's look at the individual cards:
1) Burglar Rat (hand disruption on a stick to sac later)
2) Yarok's Fenlurker (hand disruption on a stick to sac later, slightly weaker due to CtD)
3) Priest of the Forgotten Gods (sac the chumps, remove threat, draw a card, grave fill, ramp)
4) Glowspore Shaman (grave fill, mana fixing, and 3 power is a solid blocker)
5) Plaguecrafter (great ETB effect and sac or reanimation target)
6) Midnight Reaper (card draw on a stick that will go off often with all the sacs)
7) Ayara (possible wincon, possible save your butt, draw cards any turn)
8) Blood for Bones (most fun: triggers, etb effects, can go small or big)
9) Rankle (haste flyer is important, sacrificing is fine with us and so is discarding)
10) Tamiyo (grave fill & crapshoot draw is good, returning any card is a home run)
11) Cavalier of Knight (reanimation, removal, sac on a big body)
12) Massacre Girl (a board wipe on a stick with our chumps, major reanimation target)
13) Command the Dreadhorde (if it resolves then we almost always win)
14) Agent of Treachery (playing it as a super spicy reanimation target. Often best discard option)
15) Fabled Passage (worth mentioning since we have ways to get back lands in graveyard)
I want to talk about a trio of cards in further detail to express just how good they are in this deck:
A) Command the Dreadhorde
the card provides a massive blowout of etb's entering all at once.
targetting a Massacre Girl can be game over, literally with Ayara and enough chumps.
you take take your opponents stuff as well, they have to discard often.
we gain enough life to keep us at a number where this can go off big, however sometimes even a small one is enough to swing a game.
B) Blood for Bones
a trick I'm not sure everyone is aware of is that you can return the sacrificed creature to your hand or battlefield, essentially making it a blink effect. The original sacrificed card can also be a target.
So massive with either Agent of Treachery, Massacre Girl, and Cavalier of Night.
C) Agent of Treachery
not the easiest to hard cast, but it is possible in a slower format.
the absolute nuts target to renaimate.
*If you get this out and then can cast Blood for Bones, you get to see some broken stuff happen from there.
Notes:
1) Removed x3 priest of the Forgotten Gods. Without 1cmc creatures the effect is really slow. I simply increased the number of other 3cmc and less creatures.
