Ruric Thar- Keepin' it 100 (EDH MTGO) (EDH / Commander)

I'm doing decklists to play EDH on MTGO. I use manatraders to rent decks and I have the basic package, that allows me to take up to 100 tix worth of cards at a time. For some decklists this means making some hard cuts. This series is my attempt to create decks that are quality for casual EDH, but fit under the 100 tix budget.

For Ruric Thar I did not have to cut a whole lot of cards to make the cost restriction. The cuts I made were Cavern of Souls and Ancient Tomb. They run just below 30 tixs each so they had to be cut. The deck comes in at around 95 tixs. I like to leave a little room because sometimes the cheapest versions of cards are not available and it throws off the price slightly.

The deck is built firstly to smash face with an overwhelming amount of creatures.

The primary engine of the deck is Wild Pair. The deck is constructed to have multiple options for each P/T. Birthing Pod also serves a similar function.

The major wincon of the deck is Primal Surge. With haste enablers it must be countered or it is likely GG. There are also creature combos in the deck to hit off the Surge or to capitalize on with search engines.
