To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
I play all the EDH decks I make on MTGO and I rent the majority of my decks at an allowance of 100 tixs. 100 tixs for 100 cards, got to keep it 100.
I recently built this deck, but did so with Obosh as a companion. The restrictions Obosh puts on the deck were massive. there were so many cool cards I had to omit due to Obosh's restrictions, not to mention the interference it caused in playing mana rocks. Here I'm building the deck without the odd mana cost restriction. I think this deck will be juicy.
Vial Smasher is the build around partner commander. The deck plays a fair number of bombs for the top deck, many of which have major cost reduction when we actually want to cast them. The deck also plays some top deck manipulation to help Vial Smasher really deal damage.
Ludevic serves the purpose of letting the deck play blue and to have incidental card draw. If the deck is doing what it is meant to do Ludevic will draw us a card at our end step every time. Ludevic also incentivizes our opponents to attack each other for the card draw bonus.
The deck also runs a package of damage amplifiers. Once Vial Smasher starts dealing double, triple, or more damage with each activation, life totals evaporate. These cards help many other cards push through for heavy amounts of damage as well.
Toralf may be the decks favorite trick. Any direct damage spell or ability loves him. Whether it is one of the direct damage board wipes or just Vial Smasher doing its thing, Toralf brings a world of pain.
Another card that is a lot of fun is Mind's Dilation. Powerful on its own, paired with Vial Smasher it is just silly.
Finally, we are looking to dome our opponents for as much damage as possible so we don't want them getting any of that life back. The deck includes a pair of cards that stop players from gaining life.
