To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Mainboard is pretty simple.
Creatures
1-drops, playing 11. Kytheon and Soldier no brainers. Boros Elite most games will swing for 4 and I feel will do more most games than generic 2/1 creature.
2-drops, playing 12. Precinct Captain and Knight have upside and first strike. Selfless Spirit, while not being a human will save your bacon very often. Thalia's Lieutenant makes this deck go. Drop it on turn 3 after a one drop and turn 4 gets really big.
3-drops, playing 7. Banisher Priest clears the path and Thalia slows them down a turn.
Spells
Removal 4. Declaration and Valorous Stance are both very versatile.
Anthem 2. Always watching is the best available. Vigilance is great against other aggro decks, especially with all of our first strike.
Ajani. Game-ender in many cases. Play Ajani, tick down and catch them for probably 8 or 10 unsuspected in the air.
Sideboard
Brave- Play against midrange heavy removal decks.
Fiendslayer- Play against Jund, Mardu, Grixis, burn, and other black/red builds.
Gideon- Good against decks where taking out Banisher Priest makes sense.
Hallowed Moonlight- Pure tech for CoCo, tokens, reanimator, and other shenanigans.
Sovereign- Sub for Orchid second/third game when on the play.
Secure the Wastes- good alternate win con against heavy removal decks.
Lands
Mutavault 4. It can mess up our curve sometimes with the double white 2 drops. It will need testing to see what the right number is. I just know that devotion decks in standard played 4 because they are just that good.
Plains 19. Our curve is so low that we can go with 23 lands. Considering we are playing Knight of the White Orchid we may be able to cut a plains after testing.
