To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
With the release of Amonkhet I started to think back to an old Temur deck I tried out that was a few cards off being playable. With the addition of Glorybringer we have our turn 5 flying creature with haste that we needed (that also has bonus built in removal). The second key addition to the deck is Rhonas. Rhonas will be a creature every turn for us, and if he is not then we are probably in rough shape anyways, so he is a perfect addition. We will also play a playset of Channeler Initiate as an upgrade to Elvish Mystic. Our goal is to play the Oath or tap land, then dork, then bomb. Playing a dork on turn 2 still gets us to a 4 or 5 drop on turn 3, so playing the Initate makes more sense since it gets better as the game progresses. The last Amonkhet card is Censor, which we play out of the side. We need a catch all and the cycling makes this the choice, however 8 Dragons makes Silumgar's Scorn attractive. Double blue may be too much to ask of the deck however.
The deck is fast. It hits really hard and early. We have some really big swings by turn 4 or 5. On turn 3 our first bomb hits the field, hopefully followed up by another on turn 4. Whatever lasts until turn 5 is going to make giant swings with Temur Battle Rage, Rhonas pump, or Saheeli's copying effect.
There are 9 cards that can do direct damage to the opponent in various ways to finish off games, 7 that can also target creatures. Dealing with planeswalkers is also aided by the same spells, along with our haste creatures.
There is a decent amount evasion in the deck in the form of the 10 main deck flyers. Also, the deck stands up pretty well to targeted removal with Sarkhan, Thunderbreak, and Rhonas.
