The main goal on this deck is to polymorph one of the crature lands while having Painter on field, getting Iona that way and negating completely the game for the oponent at that moment. This implies not having Iona on hand, as she needs to be on the deck to be dragged out. If you get unlucky and draw it, just keep playing as supposed until you get enough mana to cast both Iona and painter's at the same time.

For that you'll need to stay alive until you can cast the Painter's servant and polymorph a land on the same turn, having easy matchups against both aggro and ramp decks preventing the damage and clearing the board before making the combo. Struggles against aggressive spark decks, for what we'll need Leyline of Sanctity.

When in need of cycling cards, both Angelsong and Muddle the Mixture serve as great choices as long as you already have board control, but Muddle the Mixture 's main goal is to find Painter's Servant. I'm not using Fabricate for obvious reasons, as Muddle the Mixture provides a better sinergy with the deck's control bases.

When having Iona on board, the game is pretty done as it is supposed to be board cleared and ready for Iona to strike. Use wisely both Narset's +1 and your scrying cards to keep Iona away from your hand, and don't be afraid of casting Silence on the early turns as this will help a lot against aggro decks. For a greater profit, clear the board the turn before you cast Polymorph.

Good luck!
