Birgi Bridge (Legacy)

This deck seeks to use fast mana to play Glimpse of Nature on turn one and drop a bunch of x cost creatures for zero drawing into more Glimpses which gives us more card draw. Birgi’s front side nets is one mana per x creature and her back half gives us even more access to cards from our deck while also helping us get Bridge From Below into our graveyard giving us some extra play so we aren’t as reliant on counting to twenty with Grapeshot. We want to storm into Grapeshot with enough damage to either win or get our opponents low enough to kill with our 2/2 zombies.

We have Manamorphose for some light mana fixing, or ramping if we have Birgi in play, as well as Lotus Petal, Simian Spirit Guide and Elvish Spirit Guide for even more fast mana. With a nut draw we can storm off on turn one.

This deck requires aggressive mulligans, it’s better to have the right five or six than a dead seven. Definitely goldfish this deck a few dozen times before you play it to know which hands to keep and which to pitch. You can reliably either create six to eight power on board on the low end or twenty six power and Grapeshot for twenty-two on the high end on turn one in my testing experience. This deck is a ton of math and probability, so the more you run it the more consistent it will be.
