This deck seeks to land an Etherium Shaper or Cloud Key to make our Eggs zero mana to chug through our deck quickly. Our mana is fixed by eggs which makes our deck more flexible, Pia’s Revolution turns every egg our opponent don’t want us to keep cost three life. We can use this to amass a few eggs which are mana neutral until we can dump them all on the field with a Ravager forcing a hard decision, or make Mycosith Golem functionally or literally free. Locket of Yesterdays is a niche Artifact we can hunt for with Urza’s Saga. Not great early, but an exceptional piece mid-late game in a pinch. Lotus Bloom on turn one can allow us a turn three engine online.
The sideboard gives us some variance. Atog makes the deck bursty and has the pleasant effect of making Pia’s Revolution a hard decision. We run a ton of basics for Modern so Blood Moon seems like a reasonable option to catch a few opponents with their pants down. Galvanic Blast because Ragavan. Sai, Master Thopterist takes advantage of the number of eggs we crack in a game. Dig Deep for Sylvok Replica. This piece of tech may be a bit cute but with our mana reduction cards in the deck, we can cast this for two or even one mana then use one fixed mana to destroy an artifact or enchantment. Also synergism’s with Pia’s Revolution as it is an artifact.
